My kids are 6 and 3 now, they laughing, dancing, sometimes crying on his music with me. Even though they dont understand the words yet (we’re from Poland). I translated the Mockingbird for them, the 6 y.o told me „mom, he is an amazing dad like you!” 😂 biggest compliment from a kid.

The projects are such a small percentage of the trillions of people on the planet, and Eminem has the biggest fanbase of any rapper. Everyone would rather have 1,000,000 fans than 100,000. And just because someone’s music isn’t for you, doesn’t mean that they’re a bad artist…and not all music is supposed to be meant for the club. Such a ridiculous statement.

For real!! I teared up and I’m a grown ass man. I’ve been listening since I was 7 years old and my older brother would put him on. then when I was 12 I would burn a fresh cd of almost all em and get thru about 10 seconds of it before my dad would smack that shit off and say “what is this angry trash you are listening to.” As someone who grew up with drug problems in the house and had them himself, his music always reminds me you can make it out and make a beautiful life out of a broken one.

He was billed as an executive producer. He wasn't listed as a performer, but most people assumed he'd be performing. Yes, concert was 100% free. I didn't even pay for parking. Such an incredible night.

I just walked home from the show, and found this footage on YT...it was pretty awesome to be there. I kinda figured Em was going to close with the DSO as his band. Great night of music, great show, amazing lineup. Best free concert of my life. Thank you Ford, for saving this beautiful landmark, and giving it back to the city of Detroit. As a resident, I am grateful to see this building almost every day; It's absolutely breath taking. I'm excited to tour the inside of the station, next weekend. Thanks, again.

The building in question was an old historic building called Michigan Central Station. It was bought and restored by Ford motor company. On June 6th, 2024. Ford reopened the station and threw a free concert for Detroiters at the opening. First come first serve until capacity was full of course. Definitely mad I missed it.😤

@jimconti8560 Ford bought the building in the background. It is the old train depot in Detroit. It hasn't been used in decades and was just rundown and dilapidated. Ford bought it a few years back to use it for office space and other things. I'm not 100% what is all in there. But Em helped produce this concert for the grand opening of the building. They gave out free tickets to it not sure the exact amount but my sister got them for being a Detroit resident.
