Quick back story: Juice Wrld never finished his part of the song, so Eminem said he wanted to go hard as a tribute to Juice's life. Eminem was a fan of Juice and took notice after Juice Wrld freestyled over Eminem beats for an hour straight live on a radio station. (Also new sub! Love the breakdowns)

@@KnoxHill I know when he breathes cause I've tried this song out for myself once I learned most of the lyrics and yeah it's hard especially cause I've got asthma but a normal person should be able to tell when to breathe, it seems impossible but I noticed that you knew when were the right times to stop the video and talk, those were times where in the song, there was no talking and the beat of the song enhanced, I would imagine that, that is when Em breathes, because that's when I do when I rap this song lol. I'm just getting into rap because of this song, I knew I could rap fast but I had no idea how fast until this song, I can almost do it, I just have a slight slight lisp so some words were hard to enunciate the way that Em can, but if I get braces finally, I'll probably get there lol. I'm pretty sure the reason for the slightest lisp ever that I have is because I have a huge overbite so sound has to travel through the gap that my jaw makes and the overlap of my teeth make some sounds have a slight sssss sound to them so that sucks but I'll get there lmao... hopefully... rapping is just really fun lol. I made a rap song once recently but it sucks compared to every song out there in the world so, idk I don't have the tech to play around with different sounds, all I have is a guitar and piano, no drums or anything to put the sounds together with so maybe I won't get there but we'll see i guess lol. All I know is I'm good with words and rhyming and not good with actually saying them out loud just good on paper lmao...

It took me a long time to rap this perfectly and I'm an Indian and english isn't even my mothertounge that's why it's more harder for me than for you. This is the first reaction I’ve seen where someone got the “a hundred percent of you is a fifth of a percent of me” line right. A lot of react channels quote it as either “fifty percent” or “a fifth of me,” which diminishes how big of a flex it is. They’re not 50% of him, they’re not 1/5 of him (20%), they’re not even 1% of him. They’re 1/5 of 1%

Eminem always does these references that I never understood. I’m not a native speaker and I never listen to rap or hip hop except for Eminem. I like the songs he makes even though I cannot understand them in their full context. You help me understand his songs and lyrics way better. You literally dissect the song into so many small digestible bits and gives the context to the people he referenced and the word play he makes. Really appreciate it.

This track is sooooo clever, then you add the flow of it from Em to Juice it’s F’ing unreal, the speed of Ems bars towards the end of the track, Eminem is on another level , the spits not only sound good the stories he tells, he is a lyrical genius and pleased that Dre jumped in for the production. Up there with the best of Em’s work .

Nice reactions, my guy. Just FYI, Hydroxycut isn’t necessarily a “drug” per se. It was/is(?) a weight loss pill that was most commonly used for cutting fat. I suppose he says ADHD or Hydroxycut, because it was heavily ephedrine based when it originally came out, and all of those things (I mostly remember Yellow Jackets) would act like ADHD meds and make it impossible to sleep.

Dude thank you for giving this song so much context for me, I had no idea what was going on in the real world so this was really nice, this was the best reaction/dissection of this song that I've seen so far, you really know what you're talking about, you got a real ear for music. If you're in awe at these lyrics and the cleverness of them, try listening to the song without listening to the lyrics, try listening just to the sounds and how they all combine to make the impact that they collectively have together. That alone blows my mind how he actually knows that the subtlest of sounds can have a huge impact on the overall song, like at the part where he says "Risperdol, voices whisper, my fist is balled back up against the wall, pencil drawn, this is just a song, to go ballistic on, you just pulled a pistol on the guy with a missile launcher." it stops at "guy with a missile launcher" but there is some whispering sounds in the background that really give a different impact than you expect, you wouldn't expect that type of -- almost alian-like/robotic -- sound to be in this song. And other little details that he knew to make subtle enough to be almost covered up by the rest of the main beat/beats yet still show and have an impact. Other artists truly have no idea how to do it this flawlessly sometimes. It blows my mind dude, just listen to it man it's beautiful.
