I love these, I just started a RU-vid channel (not this one lol) and it’s because of how much work I see you put in to your videos. I too want to learn over time more about RU-vid as a creator. I have watched you for years now and I will continue to support your growth with your channel and videos like this awesome one that I’m about to watch!
just saying man huel isnt real food, no hate to you for promoting it but that shit is a scam. Huel being "food" is like saying a pile of electronic components is a computer. the truth is, things are *more* than the sum of their parts huel is meant to dehumanize us basically. take out the gardening, cooking, eating with friends/family to replace it with drinking a shake? I don't think we realize how important of a social activity eating is.
The fact that this guy talked about how eminems murder fatasy songs were masterclasses in rap, but talked about how badly the impact of Kims radio show appearances impacted marshall, makes me upset. Neither of them were innocent, but Marshall talking like that publically for all those years about Kim *absolutely* means she can go talk about her experiences as well.
Did you even watch the video? Seriously? Kims appreance on radio shows did impact eminem negatively. It's not a opinion or him saying his mind. It's a literal documented *fact.* How is that biased? And is he not allowed to like eminems music? He didn't say he liked it because of its plot about Killing Kim. He said he liked it because of how perfectly eminem could portray a story in a rap. And how it was revolutionary for its time. It wasn't part of the video, he was simply just saying why he *personally* liked the song. There is no bias in this video. And really no reason it should, "make you upset"
@@Omotay0buddy did YOU watch the video? The guy just flies past the fact that he made those songs and talks about how impressive it faces while just ignoring his disgusting language towards Kim. To be shamed and be killed in a rap song while he took their 3-4 yo daughter and got her to put vocals on that same song. But it's horrible for Marshall when Kim said his penis was small?
“You can take the couple out of a trailer park in Detroit, but you can’t take the trailer park in Detroit out of the couple” is truly the statement that sums up their whole relationship 😂

Imagine you're in a toxic relationship, both ways are toxic, both parties have their own blame, but only one party has the power to write many songs about hurting and killing you, and a bunch of fans applauding it! When she talked about his genitals she was immediately called for that, but when he presented a song about killing her, no one stopped him! I Love Em, but there's no way I'm going to agree that he is the only victim at this crazy relationship!
I agree. I love some of Em's songs but just because he's an artist doesn't mean we can excuse his behavior or put all the blame on Kim. Because he writes songs about killing her and stuff and gets people saying it's art.

He has made a career out of humiliating her but if she goes for an interview after years and years of putting up with it, it's "embarrassing for him and his family".
lol I just cliked on the vid and I never heard off her or payed attention in his songs to hearing that. He made her lol she is just a random female that got picked up as the main groupie
Bruh nobody cares stfu. If a guy fucked me over like that and the way I expressed my anger is by writing it I’mma fucking write about it. The first songs he ever made abt her he didn’t know was going to blow up..oops they did. I would say that’s karma…karma is a bitch.
It's pretty rich that Eminem can air out all of their problems in songs that millions of people will listen to but Kim can't talk on the radio about her side too. Neither of them are "reliable narrators" but damn, pot calling the kettle black.
The difference is that Eminem dramatizes and distorts or completely invents the actual stories he tells. Kim went on to air things out completely and specifically, not just to say "I want to kill Marshall".
Eminem has the "artist card". He's using music to say it therefore people tune in more. Kim not being an artist just makes her a regular person complaining
The first amendment protects free speech. Not a bunch of _______ _______. Such as when Deangelo Bailey attempted to sue Eminem for slander. It was dismissed because that ____________ put him in a coma.
It’s impossible for a teenage Kim to get Debbie’s furniture taken away. Debbie obviously was late on the payments & it was repossessed. No one can take your things if you’re current on the payments
fr thank you for clearing that they really act like the girl is the reason for all of their fucking problems especially debbie like she really tried to shift up the blame for fucking up Marshall onto her that’s disgusting
Debbie has always blamed everything on Kim. If you read her interviews, whenever she gets asked about Em writing songs about her, refusing to see her, keeping Haile from her etc she would always find a way to blame it on Kim.
he isnt doing that because he has a narrative that is really close to hers lmao we can clearly see that he picked a side in a very nuanced situation that involves people he does not even know personally@@lamma746
There's a lot of passive sexism to this story. And I'm not saying it's even intentional. From the beginning of the video, Kim is casually described as abusive before giving any examples of physical, verbal, sexual, or emotional violence. Outside of the potentially bias opinion of an unreliable narrator, Debbie Mathers, who described her as manipulative and toxic but not abusive. Then, describes Eminem's vivid, gory, step by step death threats through music as disturbing but genius in their musicianship. Chalked up as a hard pill to swallow - not abuse. Without self reflection, this sexist narrative building has real world consequences. I would really caution against this.
Many sources claim she was extremely abusive, but yall can't handle any level of accountability on your side of things so you probably won't respond to this.
Their story was shocking to me when I was a teen. Now as an adult, it makes perfect sense. Two very poor, dysfunctional families. Foster system. Drugs. Young children. It’s a recipe for disaster. That’s all so very common. This is the story of so many American couples. It’s nothing especial. His story was magnified to the world to see because he was famous. He seemed to have done a good job raising those girls, though. And provided a comfortable life to all his family. That’s all we could ask for.
It is special when your spouse not only has fantasies of killing you but also spread that disrespect through the world, literally encouraging his fans to emulate his own behavior. Stan is based on true events from a guy who thought Marshall would understand when he killed his girlfriend. Em is responsible for encouraging violence against women and y'all just act like it's some private dysfunctional relationship and not abuse.
Poverty really messes people up and it trauma bonds a lot of couples. You’re exactly right, his story isn’t special, that’s why his songs resonate with so many people. I’m not a fan myself but I’m from the 4th poorest state in America and I see the destruction poverty causes.
@@AquaticStarchild I've seen multiple times people say Stan is based on true events but I've never been able to find a single piece of evidence that says it was. Every source on the subjects says it isn't.
2:15:14 I think you’re missing something here. Kim was 13 when they met. The chances she was coming into this with the intent of “controlling him” are very slim. Idk, I think Debbie’s biography is extremely bias to Marshall.
Their relationship is a classic example of the tragic pattern that people with abusive and neglectful parents are doomed to repeat unless they identify, address and heal their parental attachment wounds. We are attracted to a person based on our attachment styles, that’s why people who attract toxic relationships tend to be stuck in a subconscious cycle of toxicity. If you have a traumatic past, or had/have abusive, neglectful parents, then I plead with you all to look into your attachment style and work with a counsellor and do the inner work to stop the cycle. Eminem was attracted to someone who was as broken as him, and especially because she was able to help him mirror the toxic relationship dynamic he had with his mother. It’s a classic story. We could never win over the love of that distant parent that was never satisfied, no matter how hard we tried to earn their love. So we are attracted to emotionally unavailable people who will re enact that dynamic with us, however, what most people stuck in that cycle don’t realise is that they too are emotionally unavailable. If you tend to get into relationships where there is a runner and a chaser, you are both emotionally unavailable. I realised this after my last relationship and spent 4.5 years doing as much inner work to heal as possible. Now I’m attracted to and have attracted someone who isn’t running. The work is lifelong, but it’s worth it. If you are dealing with attachment wounds, it will get better just don’t give up. Keep working on yourself no matter how hard it gets! God bless
I didn't know Eminem had made so made so many songs about killing Kim. She became a punchbag in the public eye and no one said anything. That would hurt anyone's mental health
People here talking badly about Kim forget that Eminem was never the innocent victim. He started cheating on her and had many mistresses. Kim only took revenge of his infidelities which was wrong of her, but it’s documented how fame and drugs changed Eminem. Neither was innocent!
@@CBrown86 He seems to have fantasised frequently about violence towards women and young girls in general. I can think of Christina Aguilera as a close second. I’m pretty sure he rapped about wanting to “drag her down by her hair” or something? A mess. I guess it’s the product of being a rapper though, and his image.

As much as i love Eminem blaming kim for everything is so wrong they both had crazy things and doing crazy things to each other. Plus knowing Eminem's relationship with his mom Debby its really crazy to take anything that woman says as truth. Em has stated himself multiple times that she can't even admit to the wrong doings she's done. Kim had every right to speak up for her self after Em painted the picture so long.
He never blamed Kim for anything. He constantly sympathizes for kim throughout the video. ex 1:00:19 Don't really know why you're trying to make it seem like trap lore Ross is biased when that's something he's never been.
I feel like its important to acknowledge that Debbie is an unreliable narrator, so at the end of the day, we have to take stories from her as just stories from her
the whole family is good at storytelling, just Em made it work for him while they used his fame to make their stories "Try" and work for them but they don't have the talent he does and never will......eveer!
But if Eminem never became a successful rapper, he would have become a serial killer and his first victim would have been Kim, he's not a good man he's just a rich man now.
@@evievi8453 actually she said on facebook that it wasn’t a suicide attempt. she was just cutting herself because she’s very sick mentally and wanted to feel pain, but she said she didn’t intend to die
This is such a weird run down. Very much casting this light over Eminem of being a victim even when you say the awful things he’s done and making Kim to be a monster. They’re both fucked up individuals clearly
I'm glad the comments reflect what I was thinking. This feels extremely biased. There is no doubt that both parties were toxic and at fault but acting like Ems multiple songs about brutally killing kim were just lyrical masterpieces and him expressing his feelings while calling Kim doing an interview after what, 15 17 years? For the first time and clapping back vengeful and petty? Neither were innocent in all of this and at times you failed to properly represent that
To be fair… She was beating him & abusing him badly so he probably just snapped and let it out through his music…. I was in a relationship like this and sometimes it’s all you can do is finds ways to cope. Then you start to hate them & want to hurt them like they hurt you.
No, I think what you wanted was for Kim to look like a victim. No matter what kind of abuse it is, it can be mutual. I think he showed a great depiction of both sides being horrible people.
You’re not taking chronology into account though. When Em made those songs, it was during the middle of their heated phase. When Kim did those interviews, it was after they supposedly agreed to leave the negativity behind. So it’s not the same thing.
When I was 14 I had a 17 year old boyfriend, one day when we were fighting in his car he put on Kim and screamed the whole song at me while driving up to 90 miles an hour and swerving on the road. I can’t imagine how many other abusive men have used his songs to terrorize their victims
I don’t think we can judge who is the one more in fault in this toxic relationship since both of them didn’t grow up in a healthy environment. They don’t know how to have a healthy one, especially when they met each other when they only like 13-15.
Totally agree. He used the narrative that Kim kept going back to Em because she wanted a piece of the fame/money pie, even though she didn’t ask for a prenup. It’s a classic case of her being in a trauma-bond, a constant cycle of love-bombing then abuse, over and over again. Granted they’re both toxic but this youtuber is very naive towards abusive relationships and doesn’t have a psychological understanding. It’s lame to suggest a woman getting back with her baby daddy is because she’s a gold digger 😤.
Em's mother pulling the same exact abuse on Kim, playing hero by doing the bare minimum of allowing her in their house, and then saying in that book that Kim was lying about the traumatic experiences she went through is just so sad. It is no wonder that the two are both messed up, and how they still have so much love and empathy for each other.
and what about the part where Kims homie said it was all Kim🤣regardless no one really knows what happened cuz everyone was tryna catch a bag of their crazy lives
I have read his mom was bi polar, this show said he was bipolar. Then else where Kim was supposedly bipolar. Lord help that child if they all are mentally disabled.
i thought this video was about the toxic relationship between kim and eminem not a dickriding dedication to slim shady lmao every other point this dude makes is how amazing and fantastic eminem is immediately after explaining a song he wrote about literally murdering and shoving the lifeless corpse of the mother to his child inside of trunk and how he gaslit her into thinking the song was a compliment
Only 20 minutes in.. Eminem is by far my favorite artist of all time! Bought all his music and still listen today. But come on, kim wasn't the only aggressor in that relationship.
My uncles ex has a brother who stabbed himself in the heart when his wife left him. Always seemed off key to me that someone would do something like that because someone doesn’t want to be with them anymore. Yes, breakups hurt and there is a grieving process married or not, but man you got to live a respect yourself and the fact that your mother gave birth to you to live YOUR life and not live it for someone else. That’s mental illness right there.
@@jdtr3759it's not even that, it's just how in this telling of the story Eminem is always "just being an artist" or "fking up but with reasons" and Kim is "this crazy bitxh" like bruh they both retarded. I'm no social justice warrior or nothing but I legitimately got angry at like 2h into the video when Ross complains about Kim doing some interviews about their marriage when half of Eminems career was rapping about murdering her, and literally saying "oh but he's done that in the past so she shouldn't have done that" like bruh she spoke up once after having millions of people hate her guts and she's rhe bad guy in the story. Honestly how Ross made this video not about two extremely abusive and unstable people but about poor Eminem who has his faults but was so abused by his crazy gf is fucking beyond me lmao
not to be that guy but you sound awfully biased towards debbie and marshall. the fact that you seem to have taken everything debbie said about kim at face value is questionable, as debbie is a known liar and twisted the narrative multiple times to make herself seem like the loving, troubled mother who did her best with marshall, which is part of the reason he was so angry with her to begin with. none of them were saints, they were ALL toxic and horrible towards each other but you seem to be shitting on kim the most as if she single-handedly ruined marshall’s life… we so quickly forget how self-destructive he was on his OWN.
exactly, and calling Kim Naive because she said she thought he'd be faithful after they got married, was messed up. And she's supposed to understand that he'll cheat after getting famous, but when she kisses someone else we are supposed to understand how upset and angry that made him???. Super biased
Crazy how your perspective changes over time. When "Kim" and "'97 Bonnie & Clyde" dropped, I could totally relate to what he was saying as an angsty teen. As an adult? Disgusting. And I have to give Kim props for hanging in there after being called out/threatened so publicly. Did he care how that'd affect their daughter? Those songs are forever, unlike a temporarily painful divorce. Seems he only has the guts to punch down on women since the pushback from gays happened & we all know he'd never dare say anything race-based in the rap game. There *was* that time he made a rap about a Black woman that was both racist AND sexist. 🤮
The sympathetic tone toward Eminem and demonization of Kim is not cute.. like he wrote multiple songs about murdering her, mimicked assaulting her on stage in front of thousands of people triggering a suicide attempt, but somehow this wasn’t given the same gravity as her saying he has a small penis 💀 it’s so different, if anything eminem was set on destroying her life, the power dynamic needs to be taken into account as 1) he’s a man 2) he’s super wealthy + 3) he has millions of fans who will hate whoever he says he hates. Kim disrespecting him is toxic and not okay, but it’s nowhere near the same as what Eminem did to her in my opinion and the fact that this video is clearly on Eminem’s side rather than painting a fully unbiased picture of the toxic relationship is gross.
And FR, how can anyone claim that Eminem was trying to make things better when he was still putting out + performing + profiting off of music detailing his violent murder fantasies against the mother of his child? In what way is that trying to fix things💀
She cheated and did him dirty first she fucked him up mentally when they were young and was cheating massage parlor with guest and manager. Before the fame even after him getting famous he tried to take care of her. Yes the songs were too much. But she did him dirty before all that everything after his fame is irrelevant she constantly admitted she didnt have faith or even want him to get famous or have success bc some how that ruined there family but all she did first didny?? Females have a lot of control over young men. He did a lot of fucked uo shit in his music towards her but they should not have been running back to each other. If she was loving and supportive from the jump. He woulda never acted like that. But then there wouldn’t have been a eminem in the first place
i think you focus most of your criticism towards kim and deflect a lot of criticism towards marshall because of his music. when in reality her and him were both terrible partners and parents
well one of them kept talking about killing the other one, slapping her calling her fat and ugly and waiting infront of her work is aktually stalking, that is the kind of abuse that gets really scary
@Hannah 12 aktually, if it's in a song it's artistic expression. That's why artists can say any number of fucked up things in a song and not get in trouble
The hardest part about be a Em fan from day 1 is knowing that he became everything he was against and doesn’t even realize it. Still a fan but he is another famous, rich, completely out of touch celeb. If he was tossed back into those days he wouldn’t support so much stupid shit. That’s just true.
When your entire life has been struggle, toxicity and drama - when you don’t have it, you subconsciously seek it because that is your normal. That is your baseline. When you can’t find it - you subconsciously create it yourself. The only person I feel sorry for in all of this is their poor child.
Debbie is the key to all of Marshall and Kim's madness. She basically adopted Kim at 13, She raised them to be completely dysfunctional and then divided them. Say what you will about Kim but Debbie has been influencing her life for 35 years
And kim is a manifestation of Ems dysfunction with his mother. He had a pull and tug relationship with his mother and that behavior spilled into his marriage
I loved the part where Debbie said Kim, a physically and sexually abused child was the root of all the problems in his life. Sure. Let's go with that. Couldn't be anyone else influential in his life, right?
I also thought it was very weird that this 50 year old woman was writing about what a horrible nightmare this 13 year old child was as if there was no other way for Kim to be, I think if you see a child in so much toxic distress you should do something about it instead of blaming them.
uhm...the mere fact that Kim played such a vindictive game by keeping Em off Hayley's birth certificate...is a shining star example of how evil she could act on her own. Debbie had good intentions by taking them in, even if it got messy. If it got messy cuz she opened up her family then yeah maybe she shouldn't have done it. But at least the intention was good. But someone who plays as twisted of games as with that birth certificate? That shows who someone is at their core.
No positive role models in childhood will do that. Read that again, it takes people like that longer to grow up, but if they want to grow up they will reach that goal a little later than people with 2 loving parents in a happy household. Tuff out here (before people come at me some people that makes tougher and more mature, not everyone is the same)
@@aleco678 Kinda a miracle. If he had positive role models they probably woulda told him not to write or put out that song about killing Kim. He woulda never got that buzz that got him to the rap Olympics to be seen by Dre.
@@Swiss816 absolutely. This is true for a lot of unique talents, one that comes to mind for me in recent news is Francis ngannou. His story is unbelievable
I was checking the public records a couple years ago out of curiosity and it looks like Eminem still put Kim, his mom and Kim’s family up in big homes in nice neighborhoods. Really inspiring how he can go through so much with these people and still make sure they’re taken care of. That’s the position I want my business to put me in
Im so glad to see so many comments defending Kim on here. She has had such a hard life, ger twin dued of an overdose in 2016 and her mom who she cared for and lived with died in 2021. Eminem fans keep saying he raised those kids on his own as if she didnt exist. Theyve both said multiple times that they raise them together and support each other. She was thrown into the media glare with no control over it. I dont care how tough you are having the world celebrate it and laugh and mock you bc your husband raps about brutally killing you has to be horrendous. If you see interviews with Kim she seems like a nice, smart woman who was trying to get her life on track while facing many demons. Thing is, Em can recover and get his reputation as this great dad but Kim is still seen as a mess. She raised 4 kids well and i bet was way more hands on than Em who was all about his career. Neither are angels but i think even Em knows she was treated unfairly bc he's stopped shit talking her and apologised
I feel like a lot of these high school sweetheart relationships are toxic. A lot of these people never learn how to have a grown up relationship and are stuck in their ways of not being able to handle their teenager like emotions.
In 8th grade I listened to that song "Kim" exactly once. It made me super uncomfortable to listen to. Any friends who I said that to treated me like I was being soft.

I don't think you truely understand the reason he wrote this song, and said the things he said. When you have genuinely nobody who loves you, then you get angry. As much as it disturbs me what he wrote, I think anybody would agree that writing this down and channeling his feelings into song would be infinitely better than actually following through with it.

Normally I think you’re fairly non biased but there was A LOT of victim blaming towards Kim. Have some empathy for someone who was an obvious victim and was in a position where she was reliant on him from childhood. I’m glad she made it out of the relationship without him doing what he constantly talked about.
Because victims of abuse never have their family side against them? Especially when the family wasn’t supportive in the first place and the abuser is influential and wealthy? Ok lol

kind of disappointed (but not surprised) how biased the youtuber is about there relationship. describing only kim as the "toxic" and "vitriolic" member of the relationship, even after telling us about em's violent outbursts, infidelity and emotional abuse. shes the toxic one, shes the one ruining this crap relationship that should not exist. i'm not at all saying kim is innocent, but rap fanboys sure love to imply that eminem was never abusive. hell you point out kim being inconsistent as a reason not to trust her word, but brush over the fact em was also inconsistent with his retelling of events. i appreciate the hard work put into this video and i did enjoy watching it, but i couldn't ignore thus issue.
Dude...Kim is NOT at fault for everything. This is really biased. Whenever you speak about Eminem, it's 100% positive and he's 100% the victim. The complete opposite for Kim. She's fucked up but so is he. They are bad for each other. I hope when Eminem got better, she got better too. I wish nothing but the best for both of them.
I feel bad for both of them. Two kids born into toxic families who found each other and tried to build a life, then used each other as an outlet for their pain.
When it comes down to Kim going on air to talk about marshal I think it’s only fair. He dragged her through the dirt multiple times on different tracks so why does she have to sit silent and say nothing? None of them are reputable sources but it’s fair if they both get to publicly talk shit
Em made a career off constantly trashing his relationship. There many clips showing that he was verbally abusive calling her fat and worthless to her face and whole albums threating physical abuse and homicide, not only Kim but including an innocent 4 year old. Even going so far as to tattoo. But it's all Kim's fault because she didn't support him going on the road cheating on her and wishing her death to his adoring fans. The worst Kim did was to "cheat" on him twice after he did so dozens of times her and saying that he was bad in bed. Maybe Kim keeping his child from him was a bit too far but why would she want her daughter around him when he treats her so badly. I don't understand how people can see Kim as the villian.
You make work just a little bit more bearable thank you for always delivering alot of content creators tend gloss over important details bug you never miss a beat.
@elfie2555 In the video he calls the song "Just the two of us" but I think the album song title is Bonnie & Clyde '97. He raps about killing all of them, including the entirely innocent 4 year old boy, and dumping their bodies in a lake.
No he doesn't go listen again he raps about getting rid of kim and Kim only! Never once does he say anything about killing his 4 year old he's going off with her at the end to live a happy life together 💯
@@LethalJizzle idk where you got that from. basically the song is about him disposing of kims body with his baby daughter by his side and the no more brother line is because hypothetically killing kim gets rid of her affair relation stuff with her other boyfriend and his son they were never killed in the song though its literally jus kim. Last thing eminem would do is rap about hurting hailey lmao
You clearly grew up listening to Em and thus you're incapable of separating the way he made you feel better, from the way he made real people's lives worse. They're both guilty, period.
I hope Huel paid you well for that sponsorship because you killed it 😂 That’s one of the first “a word from our sponsor” clips that I’ve actually listened all the way to the end 🙂👏🏼
If anyone made it to the end of this video and took a side either Em or Kim you clearly missed that these people have been so awful to each other over the years that both of them really don’t have a argument that they are “the good one”.
Totally agree. They were totally toxic to each other. Some people just cannot be together. Kim's cousin or whoever that was always talking about her or the relationship between she and Eminem irritated me. It wasn't her business to tell. I really don't like either Kim or Em, but it's a Trap video, so I watched 😆

It’s kinda strange to me that you keep reiterating how “relatable” his lyrics are. Somehow I doubt that most men fantasize about murdering their wives/mothers of their children. If that’s really the case… we’re screwed.
They do. Believe that. Anger bitterness and resentment are ultra common in todays marriage. These fantasies are just a manifestation of those emotions men have, but are shamed into silencing.

It’s not just the Kim song that is relatable your ignoring the fact he’s spoke about deep meaningful things like extreme poverty, parental childhood abuse, addiction, parenthood, domestic violence, discrimination, racism, politics, motivation, love, heartbreak, sobriety, grief, death and so much more. All of that is relatable to millions of people worldwide from every race, country and social class I.e poor to rich across the globe that’s why he’s an incredible story teller and relatable artist staying no.1 in the charts. You can’t pick one horrorcore theme to discredit him as not relatable and music is therapy for him the song isn’t real he obviously didn’t kill Kim or act it out he was just expressing his deep hurt & rage during an abusive relationship not a normal relationship. Just like movie writers making horror films they don’t actually commit the crimes.
I don't know exactly where the line between musical catharsis and public verbal abuse is, but I can safely say Em passed that line by thousands of miles, decades ago.
My favorite part of the video is when he was describing the lyrics of the Bonnie and Clyde type song Eminem wrote about k!ll!ng his baby mama and hiding the evidence with his daughter, and after we are given the whole gruesome summary of the lyrics, he basically said “ yeah the song is pretty rough, but the storytelling here is just so incredible!” I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so hard in my life 😂 like… the criminal threat is bad, but did you see the use of his vocabulary and how engaging he made it for the audience?!
I remember the first trailer I seen for 8 mile, quite a while before it’s release. It was a very basic scene that only showed Brittany Murphy walking up to him. He asked “What’s your name?”. She answered “Kim”. That was the whole trailer, and plenty enough to get people hyped for the movie. But her name wasn’t even Kim in the movie lol.
Updating after watching the whole video. The chick he split up with in the beginning of the movie seems more kim than B Murphys character. Not sure why that trailer existed, or why it ended up not being her name in the movie. But yeah, the B Murphy character was super supportive of B Rabbit. I wonder if she was supposed to be based on a different chick, or maybe just his fantasy of what he wished kim actually was. Idk.
Feel bad for everyone involved. Being thrust into the limelight when they were both young and immature really hurt them both. Thank God they're both still alive after all they've been through.
Poverty f$&@! people up, it is so damaging. Of course this couple was doomed. They both had childhood trauma, grew up dirt poor, never had stability and came from families struggling with addiction. I wish we were able to hear more from Kim’s perspective, instead of this being one sided.
I listened to you calling one of his albums “UNCLE” for a while as I’m cleaning my house and only after a long while of continuous listening did the 💡 click and I realized you’re actually saying “ENCORE” 🤦🏼♀️ the accent gets me every time 😂😂😂
My heart aches for Kim 😔 I’m not saying she’s the Virgin Mary but she had it rough growing up just like him. He cheated on her over & over the songs he wrote about her. Then due to the public humiliation she attempted to kill herself he didn’t care. I get venting, trying to express his frustrations but making a song about literally killing the mother of your child while your child is there? I just fucking can’t that’s so disgusting. I don’t understand how these songs came out & no one gave a shit. It’s so annoying how he made a skit about the kiss he’s all boo hoo hoo Kim cheated on me! Like he didnt cheat on her a million times? Like he didn’t put her through hell? Again not saying Kim is perfect but this pissed me off. Obviously they stuck together so long because they were trauma bonded I mean they spent how many years together shit.
lol so you basically are treating eminem venting as comparable to what kim has done USING A CHILD AS A WEAPON, SHITTING ON HIS DREAMS, SPLITTING A WEDGE BETWEEN EM AND HIS MOM, THE FURNITURE STORY, SPITTING ON HIM AT HIS RELEASE PARTY, I MEAN, YOU REALLY BLAMING EMINEM?
@@blaccmarket4933 a lot of the stuff written about her in Debbie's book is not true. Debbie herself has said this. The book was written by a ghostwriter, who added some stuff to make it "more interesting/ add more drama". Plus, I don't understand why people are so upset with her for supposedly not supporting his dream. They were literally poor and had a daughter to feed. How big is the chance that he actually makes it as a rapper. She probably just wanted him to get a real job, so they could feed the family. It's not that weird.
@@Ilaisha21 its one thing to support his dream but to tell him he wont amount to shit? toxic. spitting on him at his release party? toxic. putting hands on him? toxic. yall love to turn a blind eye to women who abuse but love to hout when its a man. not excusing eminem but def not letting yall paint kim as a victim. she put that man in a dark place and still was by her side after all this time.
@@blaccmarket4933 there's literally no proof of her ever saying that. Also all the things that you're mentioning her doing is also shit that he's done. So if you're gonna hold her accountable for that, you should hold him accountable too. I'm not saying she has never done anything to hurt him, but people always make it seems as if everything was her fault and he could do no wrong.
@@blaccmarket4933 the ironic thing about this is two things: number 1- you claim “we” paint kim as the victim, as if the whole world wasnt harassing her 20 years ago. during the early years of his career em literally managed to brainwash his fans into thinking kim was literal satan spawn. she gets looked down on, trashed, hated on, etc all over the internet and irl mainly because of em’s fans. i would love to know WHO you think is making kim out to be a victim, considering everyone always used to say that marshall was the innocent man who was being tortured by kim constantly. number 2- you completely disregarded absolutely fucking anything that em has done to kim. like, are you actually slow?“SHE SPAT ON HIM!!!” “SHE HIT HIM!!” oh, and remind me what em did quickly…? making music about killing and beating her, slandering her publicly through their relationship… and do you think he didn’t hit her a lot as well? wake up
Despite their relationship being toxic, I think Kim and Em genuinely love each other. It just couldn't work as they both had troubled childhood and it took them both a long time to come to terms with the issues they had from their respective childhoods. It's clear that Em has matured as he acknowledged that he wasn't a good partner to Kim and he's now more positive about Kim in interviews/songs.
As a kid I didn’t understand what was happening but as an adult I draw so many parallels with their relationship and mine with my daughters dad. ❤ I pray we all continue to heal.
I can actually confirm, Kim attended the Palace of Alburn Hills not the Joe Louis Arena show. I was there in attendance and actually saw her in the area of the soundboard in the middle of the main floor. If I remember correctly she did get up and leave during the set.
Its true when they say your twinflame tends to look just like you, kim fr does look like eminem's female version😂 no wonder why they would always come back around
Living in Detroit, it was hard to hear “When I’m Gone” on the radio. Channel 955 (home of the Mojo in the Morning Show) used to play that shit 24/7. For me personally it was around the time my mom died so it was especially painful. I’m so happy Hailey seems to have a normal life despite growing up in all that madness.
@@AnthonyLujan707Ross is indeed the YT documentary goat for all things rap, hip-hop, gang and street-related, and I’m sure he’d make fire documentaries about sand or wallpaper. There’s a handful of YTers I know would be phenomenal writers/researchers/editors/analysts/hosts on the biggest stage. Hopefully Ross and other creators with this superior content get a big payday and a chance to reach a larger audience.
I think it’s crazy how this guy says Eminem is an artist taking rap to the next level, when writing about brutally murdering his wife and a child, but he paints King Von a sick psychopath for rapping about similar things 🤨 Hypocrisy
