I was at this concert and I gotta say so many people witnessing the concert through their cell phones rather than through their own eyes, wake up people
I was their too and instead of being on my phone, I enjoyed the fuck out of my surroundings and even shook hands with royce da 59 and saw 2 of his daughters and his manager
***** I admittedly was one of those people, though I only recorded bits of songs and I still managed to enjoy the show very much. I still watch my recordings now and then and just remember the euphoria I had when I was there.
I can say for sure seeing this show live was fucking awesome. I was really torn though because Arctic Monkeys were playing at the same time and at that time and AM was just released and is probably one of my favorite albums. But I've been listening to Eminem since i was in like 5th or 6th grade. When he was Slim Shady. So i watched the first few songs for Arctic Monkeys and then ran to the complete other side of the festival. Once I arrived I knew I had made the right decision. Once in a lifetime chance to see him with a crowd of that size. I still get hit in the feels when I think about it.
Some say the "worst crowd ever" was at this show. Hmm... unfortunately, I wasn't at this, but from what I heard from people who did have the opportunity to go, there was nearly 80,000+ people there with a majority being there just to see Eminem, and it was insane. I don't think these cameras capture what it was truly like to be there in the crowd. Also, some of ya'll are complaining about too many people watching through their camera lens yet, ya'll are on here having the privilege of watching these videos filmed by someone "watching through their lens."
LOL they didn't schedule any bands to play against Eminem that night, that's why there were so many people there. They actually cancelled the only set that was going to be running up until his start time, which was unnecessary - But they were determined to give people the choice of either Eminem or nothing.
I spent my whole day at this stage. Had my camelback filled with beer i overpaid for, while trying not to piss myself…and was like 5 people behind the rail. Most epic show ever
everyone has there phones out i wont have my phone out unless i have to call or text someone mostly text cuz i cant hear anyone at least for a moment and hold the camera is just horrible for my arms rip phone holders
