Tim, I've already spoken to your specific and unique knack for utilizing light (and, by contrast shadow) in such a way so as to add supreme depth and intimacy into the choreographies, making them timeless and transcendent; the shadowing almost becoming a secondary character in the dance, damned to mimic the dancer, but in a manner that adds considerable tactile-feel and visceral impactfulness to the choreo. This aspect of your artistic interpretation, I think is truly pushing the conventional boundaries of 'dance' videos (if we can even term them that anymore) and transposing your art into a realm of almost an existential short-film experience, in which a particular pronounced emotion or energy in a song is expounded upon, with the bodies of the dancers becoming human canvases of exploration, portrayed to us in your likeness, under the guide of your artist sensibilities. That said, in this video you did something that I wasn't fully conscious of, immediately. Generally the light-play comes from side or diagonal beams, however, in this instance, a significant amount of the noticable light, rises-up and extends from the floor, creating an almost spooky, ominous opaque aura that wraps-around the dancer. This is sublime choice. The song, the shepherding North Star of the choreo, is imbued with Eminem's sense of disdain for the public's opinion of him post 'Recovery', as well as the intense isolation he feels being an O.G. in an era where his style and dominance, has gone by the wayside to many of the younger listeners. That quazi-spooky/dark and suffocating feeling of confusion, disdain and loneliness expressed by Eminem is subconsciously artificially created via the lighting--it singles the dancer out, surrounds them in relative darkness and forces them to operate and perform their a art in a very specific, pronounced, singular region of light, DIRECTLY metaphorically paralleling the thematics in the song. Absolutely genius.

I haven't even any professional dance experience other than two years modern jazz and years of me and my friends doing the talent show with our MTV inspired dances. This channel and these dances get me so hyped for dance and music and my body wants to move how its never moved before (I am 30 now lol ). I wish I had followed dance closely as a kid but it costs and my parents were not rich at all. It doesn't matter because I dance around the house when I can, I am the first on the dance floor on nights out. I am teaching my son to love dance and MJ moves specifically. Now I am showing him these videos and trying to instill some awe for the shapes and moves that music can help produce.
