Truth is they dumbin down the game to reach a lifestyle. That's it. Nobody gives a shit about real lyricism. They don't understand it's an art form. It's poetic. The internet made it too easy to get noticed. Back when it was real, they had to be broke & work nonstop to get their name out. You had to be dedicated to being the best. Back then they got one chance (if they were extremely Lucky) to show what they had so they couldn't not be at their best. Rap has gotten so damn lazy. I was there when Shady started. He went DIAMOND when stores wouldn't sell his album, radio wouldn't play his music, they wouldn't let him have concerts in some states, & people were having Actual marches to censor him. And a lot of people think he's dissing rappers to raise himself. He's trying to make them wake tf up & prove they deserve what they got. He called it kamikaze cuz he's willing sacrifice his own legacy by making himself a target to save something he loves & worked his ass off for. He wants people to step up. For the 1st time in a long time, I actually have hope that it can be better. God bless
