Relapse is a classic. Extremely thematic, experimental, and sonically amazing.

I don't know but, Relapse is my favourite work. That's legit an art composed by the ghost of Mozart. A real master piece I mean.... I understand why he would cring on it, but the way he put the words down and bend them it became a style only Em could master it. These new rappers try to copy that relapse style but no one can do it like Em.

I personally will always like this album. Slim Shady was unleashed on this record, there is only a few songs that fit under the “Em/Marshall” persona, it’s like Shady came back for revenge. My Darling is a perfect example. The actual fear of relapsing, slipping back into slim shady (the deep-monster Esq voice) when he finally got Marshall (his own voice on the track) back after practicing sobriety. That song is a reflection of his deep and complex the album goes. (Big fan of Encore as well)

It's crazy how Em doesn't rate Relapse but we, as Stans love it so much. It's a masterpiece. Period.

If you cringe when you think about your past, that means you have grown or improved as a person since then. I always keep this in the back of my mind.

From a technical skill and flow standpoint, relapse is an impressive project. However it’s a dark, over the top project too, and the accents were overdone. No doubt a polarizing album. Encore felt like throwaways respectfully. To be fair it’s hard to follow up after a masterpiece like the Eminem show.

Recovery is the reason em is such a legend, I knew him from what my parents listened to but when not Afraid came out and he started dropping songs with Wayne it was just like oh shit

My first CD I got when I was 4-5 years old was Relapse and it was my favorite Eminem Album ever because it was my very first Eminem CD and I idolized Em my entire life. I still do. But at that time it meant the world to me to have something he made no matter how inappropriate it was for a kid my age at that time. My mom found it at a garage sale for $3 along with my very first purple CD PIayer for $5 🤣. BEST GIFT EVER. Helped me feel comforted...in some weird kind of way that looking back on it I just can't explain🤣. I still go back and listen to it often just to get that childhood feeling back from time to time. Lol

I love relapse it's one of my favorites and I also love the accents and pronounciation of words. The beats are some of the best in my opinion. Encore as a whole is a weaker record but still great and a classic for sure. And it has some big hits like just lose it and Mockingbird which has the old Eminem goosebumps vibes for me.

I’m a mom in my 30’s and I grew up on Eminem and his Recovery album still helps me so much.

Relapse is one of my favorite albums from Em bcuz at the time when I first heard it I was going thru some shit and it hella helped me go thru it and stuff and I look back on it now and listen to the album till this day and think back on shit..

Its weird him saying that I took the accents as him trying to take the shady persona in a new direction and actually kinda liked the accents as it gave personality to song.

Relapse is such an album well made during the struggles he encountered with drug usage to rehab probably my favorite from his catalogue

But he was literally going to make a "Relapse 2" as his next and 7th studio album and although he decided on scrapping it completely and going with "Recovery in the end to be released 13 months later on the 18th June 2010 after releasing Relapse on the 15th May 2009, he still made Relapse: Refill, 7 months later in December 2009

We all have our favorite Em albums but there is always great songs in all of his albums, just respect the Goat

Yeah I listen to a song like ‘My Darling’ then I switch on some ‘Not Afraid’ and I gotta say My Darling is more creative but it’s been great to watch you get healthy and heal spiritually and release something like Not Afraid. It’s been a ride Em.
