If you pay attention, the sound effects when he says “starter whooping his ass” sounds like a really small kid’s hand. That’s the amount of detail Em puts into his music

My relationship with my real dad was more like this. I actually really appreciated my step dad. He helped me get my life together, so I could join the military and get away from all the bad people from my childhood. He pushed me to get a diploma even though I had dropped out of high school as a sophomore. He did so much for me and pushed me to be a better person, he was the only one there to drop me off at the recruiter office when it was time to leave. Then he died of a heroin overdose while I was in bootcamp! The only one in my life who ever believed in me was gone before I ever got to thank him!

I'm not catching many people picking up on how good this song is in terms of story telling! (The chorus...meh) Em's story telling is so good here you actually can visualize what's happening as he says it and begin to develop empathy for the boy in the story. He takes us on a journey through these 3 verses beautifully.

Would never happen. Lord Jamar knows he can't touch Em on a track and the rest of Brand Nubian don't want to get involved in this. Right now they're on Em's good side and they want to keep it that way. The only way I could see him putting out a diss track would be if Nick Cannon put him on one of his. And that shit would be some hot garbage.

Man, Lord Jamar was mad, MAD about Em. He was all up in his feelings big time. I find it really funny that he talks so much trash about Em, yet, he was naming off tracks from the new album and even reciting lyrics from it. He is a low-key stan lol. Em got him turning into a mental case hahaha. That whole interview he was butt hurt and tried to play it off like he wasn't but it was clear he was all kinds of bothered by the disses LOL!

I'll admit I was one that didn't subscribe to you for a long time, but I am now. I'll tell you why you have people not liking or subscribing.. It's because of the RU-vid algorithm because if you subscribe or like too many of one particular genre of video that becomes your entire feed. So it's not really anything you guys are doing wrong, it's the platform on which you're doing it. I'm sure you're not the only one that has this problem.
