Not even that he probably lived in very safe neighbourhoods the more violent his interaction the less likely they’re gonna come back and do the same thing
I think alot of people pointing it out are doing it cause it is a funny thing, and it's a bit like a villain kicking puppies. But I don't know how many people understand how those types of places can be.

The worst part about being that kid is that no one believes the story when he tells it. Even though em tells the story people are definitely like “yeah but it wasn’t you”

Marshall ignored them, Em tried to keep him calm, then slim shady opened the door Edit: I can't believe this comment got that much love and hate at the same time.
@Mave I mean idk, I've never been called any of those things before, and I don't like friends who lie to me on our first encounter. But, I'll share the fucks that I've given to Richard, with you. If that will be enough. Friendship is a made up concept.
He did say in “The way I am” he said That he hates to be bothered and that he wishes he would die or get fired, dropped from his label. And how people should stop bothering him when he’s in public when he’s out with his daughter. Even being bothered taking a crap in a stall. Can you imagine your like trying to pinch one off and someone’s by your stall just waiting? And he even goes further by saying like he can have a lawsuit (like one he had with a bully that he mentioned in a song) who sued him and they settled out of court -so he makes the verse that he will buy them a wardrobe… how he’s tired of everyone just coming after him for handouts or suing for baseless crap and just paying them off bc they are making a fuss. He said “I don’t mean to be mean but that’s me” -which it’s funny I was just listening to it earlier on random and it popped up.
I love em he’s funny and for all the ppl saying he should of never put a gun to the kids face it’s Detroit I’ve been there it’s how it works lmao Detroit is crazy❤
I lived on the same street that eminem is talking about here. Its off a populated main road and he was living there in 2000 - 2001. He tried to get the city to let him build a privacy fence all along his property because people were going up to his door, and also stealing his mail as well but they denied him. And thats when he moved to a gated community shortly after.
Lol I get ppl on youtube say bullshit but Im not like that. Only reason I shared what I said is because when I was a kid I thought it was so interesting that Eminem lived on the same street as me. Wasnt a mansion or anything but it was a nice 2 story home. I used to pass it almost every day, I never seen him outside or anything like that. But everyone in the neighborhood knew who lived there lol. It was the house right before he bought that big ass mansion in rochester hills in 02. If it gives you an validity its pretty unlikely someones gonna make that up. But if you’re curious search “Eminems old house Hayes rd.”It has a red door.
That's not context dumbass that's a personal analysis. I haven't seen what this is from so I'm not gonna pick a side on this one but don't label this as "context" and proceed to give us your opinion piece.
That's why you don't go to where someone lives. Being someone who's lived out in the country a lot of my life it's surprising how many random people would go down our mile long driveway jsut to turn around or even come up and knock on the door. We had private property signs and everything yet people still would ignore them. We never pulled a gun on someone but there was a time when our neighbor with a bunch if cows got mad because my dog wandered on his property and started shooting at her even after she crossed back into our land. My mom was picking me up from my dad's as that neighbor was heading over and cursed out my mom with me very clearly being a little kid in the car. He then went down the driveway and yelled at my dad before tossing his cigarette in our grass and my dad told him to pick that shit up and that he better never see him come down our property again or he'll be talking to a gun next time. For more context the neighbor's cows would also get into our property sometimes but we never shot at them. Living in the city there's definitely been a few times where we've had people knock on our door but nothing like that.
Not current. He’s just not as mainstream or as ground breaking as he used to be. Along with that the media has nothing to slander him about anymore. He also probably hates any type of media.
@@jonathangallegos6372 That's a bold assumption. It's also stupid. Never threaten someone with a gun that doesn't work. They might have one that does work.
All these people hating Eminem for pointing a gun at kids like if Eminem doesn't have to do something drastic to stop these people from harassing him in his own home every day.
And so these kids tell their friends and relatives where I live So my address ends up on the internet again So then, I do an interview with Spin, tellin' them, That if someone comes to my crib, I'ma shove a gun in their ribs And reporters, blow it out of proportion Oh, now he's pullin' guns on his fans Just for tryin to stand on his porch
I would do the same shit. They might be kids, but you still don’t know if they got issues and wanna take you out or if an adult wanted to use them as a distraction for ill intentions, or the kids could just be innocent and want to meet him, but you never wanna take risks. Plus I am certain that shit got old real quick and he was just like fuck it I gotta set shit straight so these little fuckers gtfo until I can up and move.
