I'm a hip hop addict and love all lyrical, ingenious rap.... That being said yall can't sleep on old Wayne. Still one of my favorite freestyles to date
"Driving a rusty Scalpel into the top of your scalp and ripping your adams apple out through your mouth" Yeah Wayne find 1 bar, Em you struggle not to find a bar. Plus Em rhymes with a lot more rhyme syllables which is what makes him GOAT with how he can have multiple rhymes in the same bar in good flow. What does Wayne have, "Kid still" and "Big wheel", on the other hand Em is rhyming with his syllables like the ou in out and mouth and el and le is scalpel and apple but again the sca in scalpel and scalp. Same with the ing in ripping and driving. Call me an Em fan, dudes got mad skills there's a reason there are so many Em fans.
Obviously you know nothing about his new album or Recovery lol atleast 20 disses in each album. One of Em's disses was even on a song that featured Lil Wayne.... No Love
I know what you mean, but when a fan is so tight on their artists nuts, they like to think no one is better than them, and lash out at anyone saying someone is
***** dude fuck off hes the G.O.A.T ive listened to all his albums over a good 50-300 times each depending on the album hes the best rapper there is its a fact that he has the biggest vocabulary in music history and all I did was quote him so idk how that makes me "on his dick"
Me and my friend would get high and freestyle for fun at parties and this black kid started in with us and he was incredible...I couldn't understand why he was so good and so we do it again at another party and I noticed it was the exact same freestyle. He had talent, sounded really good, and obviously an excellent memory...So I guess, like Lil Wayne is doing here, memorizing verses is still a difficult task but do we give him less credit?
Brendon Fields , in order to memorize verses u just have to listen to it for a while, it gets easier with more practice but if u guys were doing a FREESTYLE rap, then u cant give him credit , he literally copied a rap and used it in a battle, which means it wasnt freestyle soooooo dont give him credit
People say Eminem is famous and sold more just cause he's white. 2 things you need to remember - 1. Color and music has no relation whatsoever. Hype, talent, originality, relativity in music, and presently, appearance, character determines how famous you'd be, whether short term or long term. 2. Mainstream doesn't mean you're better or awful. It basically JUST means you are more appealing, compared to other artists. More enjoyable than the other. If you think color is the reason Eminem got famous, there are tonnes of white rappers, really good ones who didn't even sell what MMLP sold in its first couple of weeks. R.A The Rugged Man Aesop Rock Eyedea Brother Ali Yelawolf Everlast Slug Vinnie Paz Diabolic etc. They are still completely underground, except for Yela, probably. But when it comes to his music, there isn't any reminiscent album about him, one finds impressive. He's just good, even though he's with the most popular rapper in the game right now, Em. Now if you think that he got a huge record label, the reason he got so much attention? Well, Macklemore won 4 Grammies and broke many records without ANY label. He's white, he was independent, no one knew him until he released his project. Its close to irrelevant whether you like or dislike his music. He got the attention. Don't come blasting on me, Oh but he himself said in white america, if he wasn't white he would've sold half. He's said a lot of things, in Evil Twin he says he's 3rd. Behind Tupac, Biggie. And claims him to be Rap God on the same album. Its all opinions, whether who is the greatest. You can dislike an artist you cannot deny talent. If you don't like Eminem, you can just say you don't like him, cause he doesn't appeal to you or whatever. Don't come with your fairy tale stupid logic. Eminem is one of the greatest music artists in the history. And his worth will be valued once he's gone. I'm not a dickrider at all. But this man is really talented musically.
True; but the thing is you have to look at it from a more abstract point. On avg, a white male is better off than a black male in a well-being saying (that's just the truth). A white boy can sit back nd study the hood and read, and put it all together become a lyrical rapper. Whereas a black boy will just hear his peers and pick up from there (not reading or preparing himself). So that wont give him the time to be creative or anything like that. That's why Riff Raff, Mac Mane, Eminem nd other white rappers sound more educated than most black
I partially agree. But, Nas, in my opinion is the most intellectual hip hop artist in my opinion. Not going deep into underground, by labeling him intellectual I mean, the most intellectual and socially conscious rapper who has appealed to many and equally influenced the hip hop industry like Em. And its a choice if you would wanna read and acquire knowledge or not. Eminem failed thrice in 9th, still an above average graduate cannot match his intellect and the way he puts his lyrics. I mean just listen to Sing For the Moment or Renegade, Bad Guy, highly poetic and relative and flabbergasting verses of all time.
Darkmall98 Check my swag, I travel like sound dog You play hard in the gravel like ground dog I'm underground call me groundhog Lay down lawgs call me ground law Don't confuse me with the law, naw but just confuse me with my paw Because I am the Birdman J-R I ain't tripping *****, I play the corner like ripkin ***** With the 40 cal ripkin *****, rip a ***** Flip ya vehicle, split ya windshield Wack ya Baby momma but I let the kid live And people say that I am a kid still, cause the lil ***** still rides on big wheels Written from Song-BM J.R
Kevin Lubeck haha yeah I agree its not hard to rhyme when you're using the same fucking words! listen to this: Yo, I'm a bear look, there's a bear Let's drink some beer 'Cause I'm a bear
I remember this when they were at the top back in the day. Everything was Eminem vs lil Wayne and those debates at the lunch table on who was better. Miss those days....
Very few rappers have more than one good album. Em has 3 classics. Even though he came from the underground, he's the greatest mainstream rapper of all time. Some say its because he's white, but it's probably because he didn't invent a fictitious gangster story and pass it off as authentic like Biggie, Jay, Wayne, etc. He self-deprecated and rapped about family shit people can actually relate to, with the most creative rap character of all time in Slim Shady. Tell me what other rapper has that psychological depth. I'm not a stan though, cuz I'd place Nas and Black Thought way way way about the rest of the rap game including Em.
Sur Raza He's not the GOAT, but are you serious? Because he's white, people ignored his first album and then ignored him through the Rap Olympics and Scribble Jam. Only once he became famous did being white help him, because before then, all it did was hurt him. I'm no stan and I think Em fell off but he's better than Jay, better than Wayne, better than Pac, better than anyone in the last 10 years. First rapper to self-deprecate and talk about personal family shit is HUGE for the genre, that was unheard of. Being white certainly didn't help him for SSLP or MMLP, but you're probably below the age of 18 so you wouldn't remember the media shitstorm. I see you're from Atlanta. Em's better than Andre and Big Boi too bitch. Doesn't matter tho, cuz Black Thought is still the GOAT.
Sur Raza I stopped reading at Jay is the GOAT. Ridiculous. Black Thought and Nas are the GOATs, and its not close. Half the Wu Tang Clan is better than Jay. Big L is better than Jay. Big Pun. Biggie. Talib. Monch. Common. Cube. How many names you want? Jay has so shamelessly ridden Biggies coattails. Eminem is on the same level as Wayne? Hilarious. I swear people in the south have a lower IQ or something.
Sur Raza Black Thought has 7 classics. Jay Z doesn't have 4 classics. Jay Z's best album, RD, was his attempt at copying Illmatic. Nas fell off, but I think Illmatic is better than anyone else's catalogue. Nas doesn't need anything else, but I would say It Was Written is better than RD. I have no idea how you have Jay with 4 classics. Name them. Blueprint? The Black Album? LOL. Good albums but not classic. Just because they sold doesn't mean they're classic. Now you're gonna tell me J Cole is a good rapper. LOL, good at crying and saying Fayettenam and all this other soft shit. I'll give you Kanye, he's probably the last legit artist in this genre. Work rate doesn't mean shit. A lot of Pac's shit was trash because he never learned to say no, most of Wayne's shit is trash also. Wayne does not have any classic material. His punchlines are weak as fuck. If I'm being completely objective, maybe TC3 is a classic. Maybe, but probably not. You sound like you're between the ages of 17-22, because most in that demographic spew the Jay Z/Lil Wayne bullshit. You're not white tho, because then you'd be stanning Eminem. Album sales don't mean shit. Illmatic is the best album of all time. Nas hit the highest peak in rap history. If you want consistency, Black Thought has never spit a wack verse EVER. And he's the best freestyler left. Do you want me to show you some wack Wayne/Jay verses/freestyles? Jay never hit Nas's peak, and lacks BT's consistency. Stop acting like you're intelligent and you're presenting your argument in a logical fashion. I can hear how hard you're trying.
Sur Raza Takeover shits on Ether? Is that a joke? Just because Jay Z sells to millennials doesn't mean he's had that great of an impact. How many times has he bit Biggie? How many lies has he told on record? "Lost 92 kilos", yeah right. Ridiculous. Wayne does not freestyle ALL his song verses. If you believe that you'll believe anything. Supernatural never said Jay was his favorite rapper. Stop making shit up. I never said Em was deep and introspective. Do you read? J. Cole tells, he doesn't show. Eminem shows. Wayne only gets props because he's famous as fuck and no one wants to listen to Talib, Nas, Cube anymore. People like you who'd rather hear 100 ways to eat pussy by Wayne than the struggles and hunger of a real artist. It Was Written is better than any Jay album. And you cannot forget Illmatic, considering no rap album even comes close to it. It has NO FILLER. It is straight lyrics/storytelling/wisdom. It showcases Large Prof, Preemo, etc. Nothing exemplifies hip hop more than that. Nas drops out in 9th grade and makes that when he's 19. You sound like someone who was told Illmatic was the GOAT album but never really listened to it. Jay Z was copying Nas when he was a decade older with RD. How can you use Nas, who considers rap a dead art, to defend J Cole? It's obvious you don't know how this industry works. No one wants to hear the real rappers anymore, so the real rappers have to give props to the fake ones. I recommend you listen to anything Black Thought has ever made. It's clear to me you've never listened. BTW he's had the best verse in 2013 and 2014. Rapid Eye Movement and Birds Eye View.
Sur Raza Let me start by saying you did say Jay Z was Supernatural's favorite. Read what you wrote. Secondly, you need to relisten to Ether. Talk about influence? Nas basically invented a new word for the hip hop lexicon. Nowadays when someone gets murdered on a track, they say he got "ethered". What about the biting Biggie attack, the Eminem murdered you attack, calling Jay out on his misogyny, his brownnosing, his fraudulent past, etc? You think Takeover hit hard? Jay implied "The World Is yours" isn't a hot song. He says It Was Written was "ehh". You serious right now? Give me one line of Nas/Big L where they bit Biggie? Not on illmatic. I can give you a 100 lines of Jay biting Biggie. That isn't homage. That's jacking a style hoping the stupid hip hop fan base doesn't notice. Give me a rapper who said he sucked on record like Em. You can't. Have you heard Lil Wayne freestyle? It's horrendous. There's no way he freestyled all his albums. Provide a source. With all that other shit about Nas and Cube, you're proving my point. They give props to the famous rappers to stay relevant. Questlove wrote a series of essays explaining why hip hop is a lost art. It's because people like you, the consumer, are retarded. I suggest you read them. I won't even address the J Cole/ Drake argument. Beyond asinine. Did you really say Drake carrying the torch of hip hop? At least say Kendrick. Drake? LOL.
im certain these 12 year old wayne haters have never even bothered to listen to some of his older projects. he a legend whether you like it or not. listen to tha carter 1-3 (em praised these shits himself), da drought mixtapes and the first three dedication mixtapes and tell me he doesn't deserve his status.
i could argue that recovery was bad but i liked mmlp2 even tho people like jay z and wayne are putting out crap today i think they still deserve their status and will be remembered as legends in the future
cacmiller u chat utter shit, eminem is a fucking genius the only reason why this one isnt particulary good is because he really isnt trying. listen to his other freestyles he uses big words in them. and funny enough eminem subliminal disses wayne in almost all of his songs, cinderella man, seduction theres two of the top of my head listen to them, lil wayne always sais that the game cheated on him. so eminem mentions that it cheated on him with eminem thats in seduction, listen to it youl see. and in forever eminem disses all of them kanye west took and overdose and eminem even mentions that. so you have no fucking clue what your talking about u daft prick.
Eminem is one of the greatest rappers of all time. Hopsin (I'm a huge fan, don't get me wrong) is too corny at times. He's like Eminem, if Eminem never did drugs when he was younger, so he doesn't have all the fucked up shit happen to him and all the anger so it comes out corny. Lil Wayne started off great, but it's clear money got too his head and he couldn't make a good rap song anymore even if he tried.
Raw hip hop is the best ever hands down. Truly one of the greatest musical genres in history forever I will be in love with it. Cheers to hip hop for ever.
Eminem's vocabulary is definitely broader and more tricky but there are definitely some rappers who can best him not with lyrical wits and disses but beats and just overall youth approval now.
Eminem is the best rapper with out a doubt, He has beaten almost every single guy in freestyle, makes raps that actually have a deeper meaning and can have fun on the mic. Hands down the greatest. dont get me wrong I'm a fan of Lil Wayne but I gotta give it to Eminem. Difference between Eminem and today's "Rappers" Eminem: Actually raps. Today's Rappers: don't even know what the hell they're saying. Rap used to be so much better back then and I was born in 2000, and now listening to other rappers, rap isn't rap anymore
InfamousGHOST24 On most defiantly I agree with you fully on that, their are some songs I find myself enjoying nowadays but its like 2 or 3 outta the whole album unlike Em or Pac or Eazy were I like whole albums from them remembering all the lyrics type shit were like you said nowadays just dont have that flow.
It just goes to show you how amazing how effects, equipment and technology which can turn lil Wayne and so many others into alot better sound and great beat etc.... ALL ARTIST do it of course but difference is when u hear them live or like emenim freestyle HE STILL HAS AMAZING SKILLS and lyrics are way better even if some are fucked up to some people IT'S SHIT HE BEEN THRU AND FELT
Lil Wayne sucks Balls Guys i can rap like Eminem Uh, summa lumma dooma lumma you assuming I'm a human What I gotta do to get it through to you I'm superhuman Innovative and I'm made of rubber, so that anything you say is Ricochet in off a me and it'll glue to you And I'm devastating more than ever demonstrating How to give a motherfuckin' audience a feeling like it's levitating Never fading, and I know that haters are forever waiting For the day that they can say I fell off, they'll be celebrating 'Cause I know the way to get 'em motivated I make elevating music You make elevator music "Oh, he's too mainstream." Well, that's what they do When they get jealous, they confuse it "It's not hip hop, it's pop."
Honestly, I like Lil Wayne, but if you say that Lil Wayne is better at freestyling than Eminem is you must be absolutely insane.. half of Wayne's rhymes were the exact same words.. and check Eminem's vocabulary and the wittyness of his rhymes.. Obviously superior.
Nic nonymous I mean that's kinda really false. Lil wayne has/had a giant career lol, I don't even fuck with his music anymore but it's a fact wayne has one of the best rap careers in the game.
lil wayne is on 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥lol🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥v
+RottingLegend thank you I don't understand how lil wayne is even considered a rapper em is the best and its not just because this was made by an em fan any of ems freestyles would destroy any of lil waynes
+TonTon True that em is not the best of rap. But not true that there are plenty of people who could beat him, no proof, I would like to see someone try But its not likely
I FUCKING hate when people comparing this two. two different stye, vibe, mood, flow, neighborhood, background, etc etc etc stop comparing they are both well respected. PERIOD.
Your girl behind me I came so fast 💨 she had to rewind me....# wayne is lit man,the more he grows the more he still bring the fire 🔥....# best rapper alive man
Robert Carrillo LMAO MY GUY if he's not even in ur top #3 , u opinion is irrelevant. MOST CONSISTENT HITS WITH THE BEST FLOW AND BARS TO EVER TOUCH THE MIC
Eminem was funny and I listen to him now but Wayne had better similes and metaphors which means better punchlines whenever you prefer I go with Wayne for this one
