How important is the collaboration between dre & em to hiphop, we would never have gotten this far with all the talent that he's inspired, he gave them the confidence to push the the line of their lyrics because there was no line for him. 💯
Nah he is right he would have sold way less. Maybe got more recognition but he wouldnt have caused as much controversy or reach as many white people which is a huge part of his fanbase. It’s exactly like he says in the video at first his skin color was a disadvantage to get into the rap scene but once he got famous it started to benefit him.
Actually no if he was black he would get more recognition more fame but he wouldn’t actually sell more cuz ppl are gonna look at him just like another black dude rapping. But because he is white and there isn’t lots of white rappers that can actually “ lyrically rap “ it was hard for him to get into the arena and be accepted but as soon as that happened his music went viral.
