When I was a MtG judge, any competitive event I ran where matches where streamed, we always played with open decklists. It was viewed as the best way to rectify the the unfairness of revealing players deck on stream.
The Asterix comic is about the vikings arriving in Gaul! ø and å are letters in Norwegian/Danish, so Asterix is trying to talk like them when he's adding slashes and os in his speech. The dogs seem to understand each other across the language divide better, and then making fun of their owners. Loved those comics as a kid! Also, Cacophonix is indeed greek and that name was used in the greek translation too, and made immediate sense! Funnily, Asterix sounds like "starix" in greek, as if he's a star. The word asterisk just means "tiny star", which is how these two are related (since his name is a play on the word asterisk).
