Pov - It’s 2:15am at DXB and your flight is boarding. You’ve just completed your transit, feeling tired and anxious to leave. Once you step into the plane you hear this extraordinary boarding music. It’s an unmatched feeling 💯
me as ground staff when working on night shift and when the morning sun rays hits you, you are 75% dead but when i used to go up early bkk or hkk flight boatd just to listen to this music. wow that was amazing. miss those 2005 days
I don’t know why I’m writing this on an 8 year old video. I doubt anyone will see this. I just felt that I had to express somehow how much this music means to me. Every single Emirates flight for 10 years. All over the world. It reminds me of the places I visited, the adventures had - waking up at 4am to board the plane buzzing with excitement, the sun rising by the time we had got on, and wondering what waited in store for me where we were going. But more than anything, this music reminds me of returning to my home, Dubai. Watching 3-odd movies on the plane and being happy to finally get back home. The polished marble floors of Terminal 3, the white pillars. Collecting baggage from the carousel and seeing the colourful ring architectural design as I walk out the airport. The smell of the Dubai taxi as I went back. Seeing the gleaming lights of the skyscrapers as we went across the highways, getting out the taxi and feeling the air that was so warm even at midnight. The musty smell of a home that hadn’t been inhabited for a good few weeks. And waking up the next sunny day in my bed, realising that I’m home again, and that while the trip may be over I still have a whole summer ahead of me. I guess I’m writing this in the hope that someone will see this and reassure me that I’m not the only one with these feelings. I grew up in Dubai, but after years I know that these memories are long gone and that I likely won’t be able to experience them again. If I have even one dream in life however, it’s to return home even if it’s only for a moment. Listen to this music as I step off the plane, and finally be at peace.
@aviation22 Now situation is 10x better and the government is not sleeping. Various policies services are available for the labour. labour is not educated about these. The sad reality is that there are South Asians enslaving South Asians there is not some kinda sheikh who is ordering in the site, they don't do these kind of jobs.
probably nobody will see this but anyway. this music is special for me. Emirates gave my grandad the best job he ever had (setting up the airline) and as a result its given me a childhood of warm christmases in Dubai as well as every birthday from my first to my 17th. the music to me brings back memories of being on an Emirates 777(in my early years) and the A380 in my later. Memories of arriving at Heathrow terminal 3 in london at night and normally the rain to head inside the terminal and find the checkin before heading through security and probably heading for the Emirates Lounge. a few hours of relaxing before boarding the plane and sitting down in my seat and waiting for takeoff. I miss Dubai enormously but not as much as i miss flying Emirates. every flight was so enjoyable and comfortable. great food and great movies. plus the novelity of a shower on board if it was a flight on one of the 380s. hopefully i'll fly emirates many many more times in the future. thank you for uploading the music its a great nostalgia hit.
My father died suddenly and unexpectedly last year while talking to me on phone. I had to fly from Australia to Pakistan to attend his last rituals. 14 hours from Sydney and then 2.5 hours to Pakistan after spending 8 hours in Dubai for transit. When I entered the plane taking me to my home and bringing me back from my home, this music has now my emotions. Can't describe it in words.
I know this sounds weird or dumb but whenever I hear that song I have to cry or I get this feeling that I can't give a definition. One year ago I flew with Emirates from Germany to New Zealand. It was such a long flight and I felt so many feelings when Ich entered the Airbus A380. Insecurity.Fear. Happiness.Curiosity. I had one of the best times in my life! But three months after I came back to germany I heard an Emirates Advertisement on the radio with this music that was during boarding etc.. All the feelings came back and I started to cry.. I don't know why I wrote this down...It's wonderful how much one single song can create so many feelings in you
TheClubshaker indeed my goodman and don't forget the best one airline colonisation of the world with an ek flight code on every airport screen outside the middle east!!
Hello Tomorrow... This music does it for me everytime I board an EK flight. I can't wait to walk down the aisle again. I pray we all overcome these challenging times with ease and good health, Aameen.
Incredible!!!! I work for Emirates and each time I listen to it, I get goosebumps. The feeling of being part of this giant and great organisation is beyond words. ❤️
I am Currently training in the Emirates college in dubai I am Palestinian but born in Australia and proud to work with Emirates. I listen to this music everyday as self motivation for myself. Hello Tommorow!
I’m just making this comment so you can hopefully get a notification, click on it, and see the comment above asking for advice and feedback on how your experience went. :)
This music is just full of happy times. I moved away from my home country, and when i fly to go and visit my family, i hear this music. Can't wait to fly Emirates in 3 weeks!!!!😀
This feels so nostalgic in corona quarantine time. I had so many transits via Dubai, always listening to this music while boarding, lounge. It feels so strange that a background music can make such deep memories. Wish the world a speedy recovery.
Listening to this soundtrack during the lock down is making me teary. Just brings back all the memories from travelling and than reaching home to friends and family. Sharing the love, laughter, the food and all those moments.
I’ve looked for that song for like eternity!!!! It’s so well chosen. This theme gives you the feeling that something great awaits. And yes it does get me every time. ✌🏻
It gives me immense pleasure listening to this music.. feels all the hard work staying in UAE is rewarded when you are on Emirates flight going home while listening to this music.. makes me cry with joy..
I have almost lost count of the number of times I have heard this song. Flew Emirates out of and back into Oz between 2005 and 2018. Hope to rejoin next May and September.
I enjoyed playing this music every morning while getting ready as a student of tourism college and hoping that one day i'll be able to work as a flight attendant on Emirates fingers crossed!✈️🙏💯🇵🇭
I don't know why I get emotional listening to this audio. The way I can feel tears at the brims of my eye or the tightening of my chest or the chills I get when I hear the beginning few notes of the song. I have flown on Emirates ever since I was five years old and listening to this just reminds me of summer vacations, my long 20-hour journey to my home country where I can reunite with family and friends. Today, I am 19 years old and the feeling of comfort and happiness of flying with Emirates is still there even after 14 years. One thing is for sure. Emirates is the BEST airline out there. I'll be flying to India this coming summer of 2023. And I am hoping I'll be flying with Emirates because I want to experience this song as I fly onto my motherland that I have greatly missed. Thank you Emirates airlines for making my home feel so close even though it's so far away. Love you lots and I hope to see you and fly with you in 2023 Summer. Always with Emirates Airlines, Queen of the Sky ♥ Update (7/19/23) : I'll be leaving for India next week and I'll be flying with Emirates!!!! Can't wait!!
This is the song of anticipation, new experiences, of waiting and dry eyes and endless movies, of little sleep and moist towels, of crew that speak 14 languages from 17 countries, of sitting next to new friends from distant places... This is the song that begins The Adventure. (And I love it.)
This music recalls our travel memory. It is important because of when we start travelling long way , we have mixed emotions and we leave some people and we reach some other people. It may be permanent or temporary .
I remember sitting at my dining table with my dad eating my breakfast and we always used to play different boarding music before I went to school. The nostalgia is off the charts when I listen to this.
Hi, I am 14 years old i've never been on Emirates Airlines before, but i'm planning to work for Emirates Airlines as a pilot when I grow older, its been a dream of mine to work for Emirates since I was a little kid im working hard for that job, im going to try to reach 25,000 miles to become first officer I hope i make it.
Ikr this song reminds me the memories of my trip to new zealand when i listen to this song i feel like i’m in an airplane travelling and when my holiday ended it makes me sad especially when i am travelling to another country.....
Hello to the people seeing this comment I wanted to share that I used to live in dubai its been four months since i moved and this song reminds me of my house in dubai 😭 it was my second house and I miss it alot it makes me feel that i am going back because i used to travel and I couldn’t wait to land in Dubai and go too my house So EVERYONE BE THANKFUL
The best airline boarding music i have ever heard i love emirates airline not only for their exclusive hospitality and the comfort and entertainment they offer but also i love this music i heard this even in dubai airport and it was so enlightening love emirates and thanks a lot for this excelent music best i have ever heard thanks
I didn't realize just how nostalgic this soundtrack was for me until I heard an Emirates Advert here in Denmark. Having not flown Emirates in the last 3 years, hearing this soundtrack brought so many memories...
This music makes me emotional because it reminds me of the times I was with my family. Our family used to travel from Qatar to India for summers with Emirates. This music playing while we were boarding, felt like “yes, we’re on our way home after a long summer.” :’)
Got back home from flying from Dubai with Emirates, its definitely my favourite airline, the cabin crew are always helpful, especially because I travel unaccompanied travel
1:43 AM, Dubai International Airport, terminal 2, its been 2 hours since you landed, you are walking through the jetbridge on to your flight, as you hear this music, you know that you are in for a good flight the last time I travelled over seas was in around 2018, hearing this music for the first time since then brings back so much nostalgia, I miss the feeling this music gave me when travelling, thank you
Its 2:00 at the night and you are going back home after a long vacation you are exhausted but you are also happy to go to your legendary bed and the second you stand up you cant walk at all then this legend plays. Nostalgia
I have only been on Emirates a couple of times, but those couple of times were like... ...you know that feeling when you get exactly what you want for your birthday? That's how amazing it was- even in Economy. But I was five then, so who knows how much it could have changed between then and now? I won't forget this theme song though; it reminds me of my childhood in every way possible. Though Dubai was like a fantasy bubble, I won't forget the memories I made there. Thank you Emirates. Thank you.
Best boarding song ever! honestly i'm in tears right now, it's like making me feel to live my dream and pushing me to fulfill it - to be an FA to emirates 💟
One of the best airlines. When ever they have a list of airlines to fly with and this one comes up I always pick it no matter what time of departure because flight is so comfortable
I remember flying with Emirates from Copenhagen - Dubai - Singapore boy was it amazing. Especially when flying their A380 empty, because of covid-19. Can’t explain how much I love Emirates.
I remember this from my trip to Texas, it was a long flight tooo and they played this music when we finally landed. Very refreshing to take that deep sigh and thank God for journey mercies 🙏🏿
Seven years ago, when I was only 8, I flew Emirates for the first time to Spain. This song astonished me at that time.Even seven years passed, it's still one of my favorite musics.Hope I can fly Emirates again in the future!
