I booked a Christmas cruise starting in Dubai for about 1500 Euro - and did not book a package BUT spent 1000 Euro more for my flight with EMIRATES. Because I wanted to be sure to fly with the wonderful A 380. Had both seats next to me free on each flight and a very nice crew - so I was "rewarded" for my decision 😉
These are the type of flight videos I like to see. Almost feels like I'm in the plane as well. I flew in the first a380 flight with Singapore Airlines in 2007. Amazing airplane. Emirates looks great
I flew Emirates on August 2021 from Dubai to Los Angeles (16 hrs 48 mins). Amazing experience I had flying with them. Professional crew, great service, good food, and the livery that had the expo on the plane was beautiful. Would definitely fly with them again soon (Tokyo might be next).
I used to work at Dubai Duty Free, but that was almost 30 years ago. Hope one day I will have a chance to see Dubai again. My first flight experience was with Emirates. Love u Dubai.
Great Trip Report! The newer A380 definitely seem to have much nicer product compared to the older A380’s in there fleet! Such a shame the last one has now been delivered and production has ceased. ✈️

This is one of your best videos, Marc! Very complete and interesting trip report! It's very sad that they stopped the A380 production: there isn't any product that offers this amount of space and comfort.

We flew on one about 3 weeks ago from Dubai to Heathrow. My main grip was that we felt the seats were smaller that the old plane and the seat pocket was way too small. You could not get a small water bottle or a medium size book in there. Also we loved the hand set that you could use to control the ICE system on the older plane. Overall, was not really too impressed with the upgrade from an individual passenger point of view.
A380 is a classic aircraft with a nice size palace built in. Very quiet engines with least noise on takeoff and landings compared to any other aircrafts made so far. Travel comfort is so soothing and less tired jet lag. 👍👍

I don't know how tall you are, I'm 178cm and my trip on Emirates 380 from Milan to NY and return has been a nightmare: I wouldn't describe the legroom "VERY GOOD". At All.
I use planes since 1972 and think this "great big bird" has the most comfortable economy class I (1,73, 120 kg) ever saw. Sorry you did not have a good experience ♥️
The video was nice but I had very bad experience in Dubai and it happened in 2010-11 since then I don’t use emirates anymore I am very happy with Qatar airways since
@@MillionMilesMarc My bad. I watched it on a very small screen. I even asked my wife to read the letters on the nose gear doors. They say that eyesight deteriorates after age 40. We’re mid 60s so it must be true! Apologies.
