It's SUPER obvious that they're both totally into each other. Rupert is just really shy about it and doesn't feel like sharing/verbalizing his personal experiences for the benefit of the paparazzi. However, I'm glad he finally get's a chance to admit it to her personally during the final 'ceremony', I couldn't be happier for him, actually. It's also obvious to me at 3:13 that Rupert is empathizing with Emma's expressed discomfort about the make-out scene. She picks up on his sympathy and flips it around on him instantly: She's flirting with him. If you pay attention you can see it written all over her face, she's flirting with someone she has a crush on and couldn't be more pleased with herself. Rupert knows when Emma is flirting with him and he LOVES it. He looks at her when he knows she's not paying attention and his face just 'lights-up', then she realizes his attention and he immediately breaks eye contact with her. This incidental behavior happens multiple times. It's classic and VERY telling. He's shy about his feelings, but they're very real for him and he knows what he's feeling. Can anyone here imagine how much PRESSURE these two were receiving from the entire world to just gush all over each other? On top of that, the studio they're working for expects them to fake something that both of them are experiencing on a personal (and intimate) level in front multiple cameras. It's actually cruel when you think about it that way...they make such a GREAT team.
aww he's adorable...i have such a crush on rupert ...everytime i see a picture of him i want to jump in to it and hug him....hmm if only we could do that
the sort of guy that doesnt kiss and tell, that is why he just says he has no memory of it, probably wants to cherish the memory n not want the media to turn it into a circus.

the chemistry between them is very much like David Boreanz and Emily Deschanel. Sometimes it makes you feel like two people who seem so destined to be more than just best friends, but the timing isn' t right because someone is with someone else :(..... and take it from someone who's been there.. it's very easy to fall in love with your best friend
I think Dan ships Rupert and Emma together as much as Harry ships Ron and Hermione together. There really are the Golden trio. PS They are so like the original three Marauders. Harry is obviously James, Ron is like Sirius and Hermione is like Remus. And one does not underestimate the extent to which James shipped Sirius and Remus together. I have attained HP nirvana.
Dan ships Ron and Hermione, but not Rupert and Emma there was once (2007) Emma was standing next to Rupert but Dan came in their midest and he put his hand on Emma's shoulder like he was jealous
I think they're far too different from each other to ever form anything other than a friendship, cute though they look together. The silver lining is, they'll likely be friends for life, and that is a precious gift to have too.

@winkerbie Yeah, and remember how Ron and Hermione took a longgggggg way to get there in the end. They had to go astray for a while before getting back to the right path and finding each other again. Who knows what the future holds for R and E? ;)
Best thing is what if she was on the Ellen show and it was her birthday best surprise would be Rupert seeing her again hmm what do you all think shed react to this as a surprise? Not gunna happen though but if it did wonder what shed say or do I think surprised and shocked not knowing this was gunna happen

I just need to ask .....all this moments from all this interviews. Did she really talk about rupert all the time or you just make it look that way just for the vid...? anyway I love them and I love Ron and Hermione...:) and I think that they have something much much more between them than friendship...I think that they are inlove with each other but like Ron and Hermione ..I don't know they are maybe too scared to admit it........
nah they're still young guys! let them go out there and have fun and meet new people. then who knows? maybe five, ten years down the road they'll be together? They have spent 10 years of their lives together after all

I really dun buy they are not together becos "we grew up closely together", Ron & Harmoine story is very common happening of 'childhood friends turn lovers' in real life, I bet there's an understanding among all the MAIN casts not to get involve romantically since they're going to film the movie for a long time becos its obvious there's real attraction between Emma & Rupert where there's none between Emma & Dan or Tom, & true enuf both Tom & Dan date 2 ladies from HP set
