Captain Swan ... the perfect combination. Even when Hook was only supposed to be a "guest" role, he still had a chemistry that no one has matched with Emma. One of the best scenes ever.
They wanted his character since the inception of the show. and they wanted him in more that season but Colin broke his leg and couldn't do what they wanted him to. He has been written in as a love interest for Emma from the start. Look back at their meetings and listen to the song that is being played. It's their song. Plus the whole princess/pirate "Princess Bride" Buttercup - True Love - As you wish has been there too (Emma's tattoo) There is more too but there is too much to write. Adam and Eddy were on LOST they knew what they were doing with these two from the start
swimfree22 Except they originally only signed him on as a Guest Starring role that was supposed to end in a few episodes. Since he had such a great reception from the audience (for good reason) they switched him to Series Regular at the 2nd half of Season 2 and the rest is history. I'm just glad that they kept him around, Killian Jones is probably one of my favorite characters on the show now.

That was Captain Swan, and it wasn't the very beginning of their relationship. I was talking about Snow and Charming in the season 3 finale where they go to the alternate timeline.
Christina Pantz yes, snow took a potion to forget charming and he tried to kiss her to get her to remember, instead he got a rock to the face. She did end up remembering after the fact

I love how he threatened Emma because his life was on the line, but now two and a half seasons later he's in love with her and would gladly GIVE UP his life to save her
Really? I mean I'll give that he is a strong and well enough developed character. And yes he's hella hot. But given the some other characters, I don't know.

I think Hook saving Aurora's heart is very significant. It was a split second decision, more of a relfex than anything else, he had nothing to gain from it, and it involved putting himself in danger. Just shows that even in season 2 Hook had the capacity to be a hero
Haha, I knew that Hook had let her win (because seriously, compare this to how he fought with the Black Knights in the s3 finale...or Blackbeard), but now we know that she hadn't actually knocked him out either, because he saw what happened when Cora tried to take Emma's heart, 'Soft side' indeed. Even before he was in love with her. ^_^
IKR! He so let her win that fight... I mean, he has centuries on her with sword fighting experience. I very much doubt she'd be able to beat him in a sword fight even now if she used no magic at all... She may be good, but he has had centuries of practice... :)
poor Hook, always getting knocked out. Though like most of you, I don't believe he was trying his hardest here. She's had no experience fighting with a sword, he so could have taken her. I don't think he wanted to hurt her. As strong as his desire for revenge was, he liked her too much.
+CulbRus Emma is his soft spot and his weakness. Maybe it wasn't right away for her when it came to him but for him, I do believe he was smitten at first sight
But sword fighting isn't a skill you're just born with. She may be a faster learner then most, but it would still need to be taught. She has experience fighting bail jumpers in our world, but not with a sword. Hook totally let her win.
I agree... He had that bean, he knew either way he'd be getting to Storybrooke. And I think it was partly because he knew Emma had a son waiting for her, and he knows what it's like to be abandoned by a parent (even if Emma had already abandoned Henry, and then he found her and then she got separated and could have easily never seen him again if she lost this fight) and he didn't want to do that to him. He'd already done so to his half brother (though none of this had actually been revealed yet in the show) and he couldn't do so again. Also, he had clearly cared for Emma already, plus the whole thing about the fact that he is centuries old and has all that experience with sword fighting, and Emma had none... It would make no sense for her to beat him while he was trying his best...
aww I remember this but do you guys notice snow and charming hated each other, Emma and Killian hated each other, Regina and Robin hated each other and then the all ended up loving each othet
+Damonique Maragh Snow and Charming didn't really hate each other and neither did Emma and Hook. Snow found Charming to be a bit annoying and Charming most of the time was chivalrous, but slightly on edge when it came to her because of the fact that she was a thief, and kept hitting him. But towards the end of their first meeting when she gave him back his ring and she tried it on, they began to like each other. Charming Said it himself that as soon as he saw her put his mothers ring on her finger, he knew he wanted to marry her. And Snow tried on that ring the first day they met, so technically they didn't really hate each other, they were just on edge with each other. Now with Hook and Emma it's kind of the same thing. Hook liked Emma and was attracted to her and made a bunch of jokes and innuendos and Emma just found him pretty annoying most of the time. Don't really know about Regina and Robin, would have to go back and look at how they first met, but definitely for sure, neither Snowing or Captain Swan hated each other in the beginning.
During this scene all I could think about was how Emma and Hook both used team work to get Aurora's heart. I mean. If you think about it. How else was Hook able to get her heart without falling into the portal? Haha! I love this couple :P They used team work without even realizing it.
Emma and Hook went back in time at the end of season 3 , so they could have gone there to gone there and seen the whole lake was still there during the time they went back to.
I'm still completely in love with this show and both of these characters. They're both so amazing and incredibly funny, and literally the cutest. Love your channel btw. 💕💕

I just noticed Hook's little eyebrow.. twitch when he's pulling Emma away from her sword and she ends up on her back.. MMMM-HMM WE ALL KNOW WHAT HE'S THINKING.
At that moment in time you wouldn't think that Emma and Hook would be together would you? At this moment I shipped Emma and Hook because he gave Aurora her heart back.
I just think about this as a story on how Hope's parents met, Hook will say that she he and mommy got into a sword fight and mommy clocked him with a compass and left him unconscious in the sand...the end.
I just love Hook and Emma! I think it is better for both to be together than Emma with Neal... He left her in jail with a baby and he didn't even try to find her when the curse broke! I don't care if he was worried that Emma will not forgive him... at least he ought to find her and apologise for what he did! Now it's Hook's turn to find love and Emma should really give him a try...I think he deserves it after so many he has been through! Sorry for the big comment xD i prefer to read short ones too:P
"With my life on the line, you've left me no choice." Hook is saying that he really would rather not kill her, but he has no choice because she's in the way of his revenge. Added to the fact that he basically threw the fight so Emma could get home to Henry, Hook might as well grab a megaphone and yell, "SWAN I LOVE YOU!!"
