Abi Holgado 100% agree, nervous and “most ardently” Darcy was my mans but this Mr. Knightley has wrecked my entire being & existence and I’m perfectly okay with that.
There are not generations in the classics. The labels don´t exist, those new remakes are not so good as the original movies, but are welcome for the new audiences (of all the ages). For remember us how great they´re.
@@barbarablue2571 I mean alot of people won't watch the originals due to quality ect. Or read the book. Mr Darcy is loved in the RU-vid community cause there is the recent ISH film and BBC series. So kinda a new generation will be aware of Mr Knightley
I'm frankly embarrassed by how many times I've watched this. It's absolutely perfectly put together, from the shot selection, to the order they are placed in, and especially the song! That wonderful moment where it reaches its crescendo and you have all the shots of them running, it's just *chef's kiss*. A truly fantastic movie, and you've really outdone yourself with this wonderful video!
Leanne Lapp so true! i was 13/4 when we discovered the Pride and Prejudice movie (and then i read the book & tried Emma too & couldn’t finish it, but i was hyped for pride and prejudice & watched the movie countless times & just saw Emma. today & it’s the same feeling as in Pride & Prejudice!!)
This is a masterpiece!!! I’m freaking out over how brilliantly this was edited and I’m not even kidding when I say I got goosebumps with that transition at 3:38 with the change in the music tempo that matches beautifully with Mr. Knightley and Emma each running towards one another. I haven’t been wrecked by an edit like this in forever, truly amazing
Johnny and Anya sizzle. A pair well matched. But in real life Johnny has an equally beautiful wife called Beatrice and three adorable kids. Very lucky man.
I've been obsessed with both the book and the movie Pride and prejudice, but after reading and watching Emma I can say that is my absolute favorite... it's every thing I could ask for and even the differences between the movie and the book I think Austen would have approved
Goodness! The way you matched that lovely crescendo of violins with the building intensity of Knightley and Emma’s heightening attraction/love was beyond stellar!!! 😲🤩This was AMAZING,!😍Thank you for sharing your gift!!🤗👏🏻🙏🏼💛🤍🙌🏼💯
This is my FAVORITE Emma and Knightley edit! The song is perfect, the editing is amazing. It really elevates a complete picture rather than just referencing moments from the movie like a trailer. "The whole is greater than the sum of the parts" when it comes to this video! Amazing job. P.s. your use of mirroring the footage in places to enhance the flow and... _melody(?)_ of the shots and editing is very effective in your composition. I only noticed at 3:20 when looking at Johnny Flynn's face scars and how interesting it is to see them on a posh Regency Era man... then noticed on the next shot they're flipped! I'm not calling it a mistake or anything!! It just made me realize "wait... were there some shots flipped this whole time and I didn't even realize it?? It worked so beautifully and fit so well! Oh my god it's on purpose! that's awesome." I just admire the level of consideration to detail.
This was a good fan video: I’ve re-listened a million times as I feel it really captures that strange feeling they felt before acknowledging their feelings
i watched it because it is based on the novel of jane austen. And because Pride and Prejudice (2005) is my all time favorite movie. And i must be lying if i would not say, that this movie was beautiful. I am a Mr. Darcy fan but Mr. Knightley is acceptable and really handsome :) Loved every single minute of it! Jane Austen really outdid herself once again with writing this story!
i was a most ardently Mr Darcy (2005) fan, but after watching Emma (2020) i became obsessed with Mr Nightley's tenderness. He is remarkable 💖 i wonder what it would be like to be kissed by Johnny Flynn in real life, because in every movie he seems like an amazing kisser, so soft and passionate at the same time, with his eyes always closed, like really sunk in the moment sith all his being. okay, i feel like a teenager now, a 38 year old teenager 🤭
Mmmm who is lost, Emma or Mr. Knightley lol ♥♥ Great story and remake. Personally i think that was Knightley who loved her the most between them, but anyway they are the best Austen´s couple!!!!! At last the funniest.
Where has Jane gone? Has anyone seen her, lately? Have you read her? Has she touched your intellect ??? Has she visited your heart? Have you become enchanted with her pen? Have you become a janite?..... e
It is obvious Mr Knightley had never been kissed before..for he, himself said, only Mrs Knightley would be allowed to do that. I would most approvingly say that Mrs Knightley has accomplished that...e .
ugh finally managed to watch this movie! I wish it had more or those funny moments that were in the trailer but oh well. I still enjoyed it and still feel your video is perfect
Can't anyone out there get this.......there is more to romance than just taking a leap into the nearest bed.........this film shows what you must do to accomplish love..........
Just suddenly.........came to me, ... Jane Austen is Emma, in reverse...... Tom lefroy is Mr Knightley in reverse........ Tom and Jane were poor and it could not happen.....sitting together.......but..... Emma and Mr Knightley were both rich and it could happen...it did...... Jane was still in love with Tom!!!!!!......
Don't let she make a difference. Mr Knightley was sixteen when Emma was born......now she is twenty..... don't let age keep you apart, is age the problem or is it money???.....day is drawing into night......run to each other....run.......
I'm the 🌈 rainbow. After the storm, winds lashing out, thunder crashing, the clouds roll away, ray's from the ever existing sun filter, my chance to shine, my chance to love, my chance to sing.....e
The 3 top tier men (+ Colonel Brandon perhaps) but my order would be 1. Mr. Darcy 2. Mr. Knightley 3. Mr. Tilney And at the bottom of some pit lay Edward Ferrars and Edmund Bertram
Mr Knightley will always be my favorite, he was from the moment I discovered that story. He's just absolutely perfect 🥰 Imagine he abandons his own house to go live with Emma because of her father... And he is always, always kind, thinking about everyone before himself...
Love is not lust....if it were there would be no need for Jane Austen to exist.........what purpose Emma.........in the end .....they were crazy for one another.....crazy in love...........
Tom, have you..do you..still really love Jane?.......turn..run after her.......Jane, turn.....run to him, the one you really love........is Stephanie, Jane..? Michael, are you Mr Knightley? Don't let age make a difference!.......
