I nice song that Emma recorded was a cover of "Come back home". I think it was recorded from her home, not some fancy studio. But give that girl a mic and she grabs your heart.

If you read this Alex. I follow all your reactions to Emma. Did you watch all the voice performances? She was amazing. The Climb, Come Back Home are also great. But her own two originals are wonderful as well. Strijder and Laat Mij Een Vlinder Zijn. Hope you get to watch all her videos. Thanks for reacting to her.

Emma Kok won the voice kids when she was 13. I have read that she had only one month singing class around the corona/covid period and then she decided to register for the voice kids. She was 12 when she took part of the voice kids. By the way I am from the Netherland and I start following her since I heart her singing voila.

I respectfully disagree. Between Voice Kids when she was 12/13 years old, and Voila two years later, Emma's voice had lost most of its child frequency. Listening to her many covers of popular songs, you can clearly hear this change taking place in the early spring of this year. By the time of her Voila performance in July, her voice had markedly matured. While her voice is no doubt continuing to evolve, with Voila we are starting to get a glimpse of Emma's more womanly voice. It is a fascinating process to behold. Take a look at her performance of Mariah Carey's 'Hero' at the Margraten Liberation Concert just last Sept., only two months after Voila. That is the voice of an extremely talented young woman.

Hola. La dinámica de estos concursos se basa en que los jurados están de espaldas a los concursantes. No saben quien canta. A medida que a algún miembro del jurado le gusta una actuación, va dando vuelta a la silla para quedar a vista del concursante. Si se da la circunstancia de que todos dan la vuelta, el concursante pasa a la siguiente fase. Si no todos dan la vuelta, queda descalificado. Así puede verse, a veces, la cara de sorpresa del jurado, cuando ven a quien está cantando. En cada canción siempre el mismo método. Felicidades por tu programa y la honestidad de tus gestos. Salud.

Emma is small. Due to her illness she is behind on her growth. At 15 singing Voila, she was wearing 5” heels and is only the height of the average 7 year old. So here she would be about the height of the average 5 year old. She is tiny, but has plenty of power from those little lungs.
