It's not just her exceptional voice, it's her stage prescience, her gestures, her facial expressions, she really sells this song as if it was coming from some where deep with in her soul. There are many older artists that have yet to achieve this maturity and finesse. Bravo!

Thank you for uploading this version, it helps show just how much Emma has subtly and beautifully changed the original version of Voila that she sang in Maastricht last summer, the quality of the performances she's doing now is just so good, it's not been changed significantly, just lots of little subtle changes that enhance the quality of the overall performance, and the depth of emotion that she's able to build into her performances is only incredible, it's down to the life experience she's had, living with gastorparesis from birth, and feeding tubes from 9 Months has meant her childhood was hugely disrupted by dragging the equivalent of a boat anchor around for 22 hours a day, that's been a huge challenge in so many ways, and that's only the start of the issues she's had to contend with, and it's given her an insight and ability to feel and share emotions that surpasses any other performer I've heard. Live in Dublin a few days ago was sublime, I didn't expect her to have fine tuned the performance in the way she has, and it made for a real high point in a concert that surpassed recent years, and I will freely admit that I am very much looking forward to what Andre and the team will come up with for Maastricht in both the summer and for Christmas, and yes, if I'm honest, I am also hoping that Emma will continue to work with Andre for some time to come, with the limitations she has to face because of being tied to her feed pumps for 22 hours a day, the routine of concerts with Andre seem to be a good fit for her, and there's no doubt that she has fitted very well into the extended family, it's very visible that she is a very popular and well liked member of the team, and there's no doubting how much Andre is enjoying having her as part of his extended family. People who know me will know what's coming, and I make no apologies for repeating it on a regular basis, A closing heartfelt plea to everyone reading these comments. At the moment, they are a small group, and one of their main people is a surgeon who has a lot of experience in dealing with gastroparesis, and she is not only a surgeon, but also suffers from the same disease herself, to the extent that as a result of her condition worsening, she's had to leave her role in the hospital, and she is now dedicated to the foundation, and working to help find possible new treatments, or even better the cure that will free people like Emma to live a more normal life, rather than be tied to the feeding pumps for so many hours every day. It would be wonderful news to hear that they have been able to change the outlook for Emma and others, it would be tragic if Emma were unable to continue to sing like she does, while she looks stunning on stage, her stamina is not good, so it is a very delicate balance to maintain her health, it would be so good to hear that the situation has been changed by the work the foundation are doing, Emma would then be free to spend more time doing what she loves so dearly.
To say her fans love her is an understatement; they adore her and her health is a major concern to all. She has God-given talent and is at a consciousness level that enables her to very effectively engage the souls and hearts of her listeners. For many, the experience or Emma Phenomenon is so strong it awakens the souls of her listeners in a way never before experienced. The feeling to many is spiritual and possibly the opening to universal consciousness or God. Maybe a teaser to let us know He exists!

Seen the show last Saturday (18th) absolutely amazing performance by everybody involved, the whole arena was totally silent while Emma was singing , one of the most beautiful vocals I've ever heard 😊
@@AVC-Works Without doubt the best voice I have heard in my entire life but Emma Kok has more than just a perfect vocal instrument. Emma is spellbinding to watch on a screen at home so I thought I knew what to expect. Live Emma Kok is otherworldly, almost indescribable, I can only say Emma has a way to penetrate your soul. The sound quality is so good it’s like you hear it inside yourself too and you have to be prepared to spend that time barely able to breathe. I have to find a way to see this young lady again; she’s a legal drug and I will need another fix.
@RogerClutton you just hit on part of the effect of Emma. The first time I heard her was our local cinema, the 2023 summer concert, and we didn't just hear her, with cinema surround sound set to a fraction below pain levels, we FELT it, massively. I don't mind admitting, that evening started a process that still ongoing, I watch regularly for anything new from or about Emma, and the more I've found, the more impressed I am with Emma as so much more than just a special individual, and me giving a bit of my time to try and promote her foundation is a light burden to carry if it means we get to see and hear more of Emma. From recent posts she's made on social media, it seems she's struggling at the moment, not with performing, but with her own physical and mental situation, understandably, and it only serves to emphasise how important the work of her foundation truly is, it's clear that the only thing that can help Emma will be a breakthrough in treatment, or better, and from the sound of it, the sooner the better.

The original Mastricht version I thought and still think is one of the most beautiful performances I've ever seen. To see that she has actually been able to improve it further from there is unbelievable. Amazing talent.

In the original concert recording from nine months ago, the word "contours" sounded very bad.

The sound engineer needs work….vocals were great but the orchestra balance ratio was not right….I was there last night too, in N 9, to the right of the stage and there was a definite imbalance. Saw this in Maastricht and it was so much better (and cheaper)
Ik begrijp niet de nadruk die gelegd wordt op haar zeldzame ziekte. Emma kan werkelijk prachtig zingen maar dat wordt niet van hogere waarde door die ziekte. Vergelijk het met een persoon met geamputeerd been die toevallig ook de Rubik's cube in enkele seconden kan oplossen.
Its horrible that she has to repeat the same thing over and over.. he should have just told that story to people the first time and then not mention it at every performance.
