I don't think she was expecting Candice, who is an absolute ICON & part of a legendary comedy family (as referenced in the ventriloquist joke), her eyes just lit up!!!!
@@andrewspielman1921My favorite Lorne moment, was him talking to George Harrison, about his $3,000 offer to him and the Beatles, to reunite on the show, but the plans fell apart, a little while later, and did not go through.
For the kids, under 50, who didn't get the ventriloquist reference from Candice Bergen: her father was a famous ventriloquist, Bergen and McCarthy. She hated the dummy because it got more attention than she did.
@@musashimiyamoto586 why did you make this comment? SNL has done “five-timer” to recognize who hosts 5 times. Emma deserves that award because she’s funny and talented. No wonder she host that many times
@@zoeledwards6617 This world is truly done for when people think hosting what unfortunately has become a has been show like SNL 5 times is anything to be applauded.
@@bruhmaster1473 You kind a contradicted yourself there. "Nothing special about being on SNL", "not a real mark of stardom", but "an achievement nonetheless"??? There is NOTHING special about celebs, movie stars or whatever. I can admire their talent and role-playing or music or whatever, but as long as they haven't shown any "achievements" in what really matters in this world (which nobody seems to know or care about any more) to me they are still nothing but ordinary human beings.
This is so amazing, Emma is just brimming and overflowing with joy the whole time, you can really tell how special and important this is to her, and to be standing between two SNL greats ❤️
Congrats Emma for earning the Five Timers spot! You’ve definitely deserve that jacket! You’re one of the most funniest hosts I ever seen! You’re gonna do great tonight, girl! 😊
YASSS congrats Emma on finally being a FIVE-TIMER (AND THE YOUNGEST EVER). You’re SOOO hilarious and I’m so happy for you. Great callback to your previous four timer monologue btw. 🎉❤🎉
Congrats, Emma. She has always been a big fan of the show. Remember her tribute to Gilda Radner at the 40th anniversary? She did such a great Rosanne Rosannadanna impersonation. Wish they’d have made a bigger deal about it as with some of the other 5-timers. But having Tina & Candace was a nice touch. ❤
Why? He's got more sense about covid than these other celebrities do. Who wants to take an experimental shot that doesn't even prevent you from getting covid? Most people reused masks, which severely hinders it from doing its job, and regular masks didn't even help prevent the spread of covid, only N95's did. Keep drinking the flavor aid sheep.
Woody Harrelson's monologue was the single best SNL monologue of all time. It was satire of the highest order. An artifact for the ages. When people look back at the blunders, the corruption and the egregious malfeasance of the COVID era, it will stand as a signpost of the few who were aware at that early date, of this dark age.
Did she? Or was it the joke writers who surprised him who got the laugh. Pretty sure there was some high-fiving from her husband and others in the writers room.
there was an episode with a serial killer reference she was in- it was the night he was being sent to the chair. Dark stuff in hindsight but I guess you have to remember she was unwittingly pulled into the Manson murder trial.
This show just gets better And old timers weall love! The husband Emma Stone really haswas a segment director on SNL. He left in 2018 and now wrote n directed CRUELLA and THE HELP and new EMMA film.
I have this thing if I see someone who I'm a fan of on snl I have to go back and watch all their sketches from previous shows, Emma is a gd hotting and has brilliant range as an actor. 5 timers club well deserved 👏 ❤
OMG Candice Bergen! For those of you who are not familiar with her and her Hollywood lineage please Google her! A crush to this day!! If any streaming service is showing Carnal Knowledge please watch!! So great to see her❤
I don't remember the last time I've seen Emma Stone. As I don't really watch movies or television as I used to before (blame youtube). But she still looks as amazing from 10 years ago. When I seen her in that movie Crazy, Stupid, Love.
@@yyby_oh yeah, I forgot about that movie. It did look pretty good. But I've fallen off so bad with keeping up with movies. I literally just finally watched the most recent Batman like a few weeks ago lol.
Emma stone is the new generation sense of beauty..of course I'm not the same generation but my daughter is..and we all love emma..she's one of a kind! I like her! And even my daughter loves her..and my daughter is hard to please meaning she doesn't just love any one..but we love Emma..shes another beauty of inside and outside that we had in my generation and now in my daughter's is Emma
This episode may not have had the most hilarious sketches ever, but it didn't have a single miss, unlike most shows. Not one of the sketches was not funny. They _all_ were really good, and that's exceptionally rare. A great host who has great range is 100% required for that. Emma Stone is the absolute best at being a silly f*k! 🥰 Love her.
Congratulations Emma Stone on the “5 Timers Club”, officially at 35 years of age. Having your 2 honorees at you side of: Candace Bergen and Tina Fey, there to celebrate your evening and to wear the coveted official jacket. Thank you SNL Mgmt. & Staff for posting on RU-vid here in Sweden!🇸🇪
