Emma Thompson and Daryl McCormack on 'Good Luck To You, Leo Grande' and baring all to one another 

The casting was spot on. Emma is amazing and such a force in every film. Daryl's work I was unfamiliar with but he was charming, disarming and lovely to watch. I enjoyed their chemistry. I never felt as if they were acting. I wasn't ready for the story to end.

Loved it! Bravo Emma! Dealing with real life issues, so refreshing. No shame here and the pleasure of watching the gorgeous and talented Daryl. Thank you to the writer, to Sophie, everyone involved. A Giant step for womankind, indeed the art form of movies.

This is the most bizarre thing I've ever seen Emma been involved in. I thought the trailer was hilarious. Fair play Emma for giving it your all!

the interviewer's posture is rude and assumes disinterest and boredom. I'm annoyed about that

Love Emma and not her fault at all, but the film is actually unsettling in many ways. It reflects the "white woman "romance" (sex) vacation in the Caribbean scenario and her character in GLTYLG is a bad person, actually. She was horrid to her students, rude about her children, and deceased husband, inappropriate and judgmental. She does not respect the Leo character's boundaries at all: she attempt to "out" him, snoops into his non-working life, and break him down. She cheapens him and reminds him that he's for pay and that as "I'm not a rich woman," she wants her money's worth. This does not make GLTYLG a "bad" movie, but many commenters seem to think that this is a wonderful picture of an older woman and as an older woman, I don not think so.

The idea of disowning your child because of some trivial nonsense in their youth? What a sad little person his mother.
