Natural makeup is so rare these days. People seem to think makeup skills lie in your ability to apply as much makeup as possible but real skill is actually in using makeup to enhance your own beauty and letting as much of your own natural features shine through, as possible. Love Emma’s attitude towards it!❤️
It’s fine to prefer “natural” makeup products, but I have to disagree on them requiring more skill. Whether or not you prefer them, often the high glam/avante garde/drag makeup looks require more precision, steps, and technical skill. This isn’t to say that people who do natural makeup aren’t talented, but there’s no reason to put down a certain style of makeup you don’t personally prefer.
God, shut up already. Let people have preference. Not everyone wants dewy skin and pink lips. I cant believe I still have to say this in 2020. If someone likes natural and minimal make up, thats okay and if thats not what they want, thats okay too.😒
Most celebrity looks just aren’t my cup of tea. I think I just have a different aesthetic. However, I’ve ALWAYS adored her makeup. I think what draws me to it is that it’s evolved and is occasionally experimental without sacrificing her personal taste/style. Thanks for the well-researched videos!
Matilda, this was SO good! I just love Emma Watson because I feel she’s one of the best role models out there for young women - smart, educated, talented, ambitious and FEMINIST! We’ve watched her grow up on-screen, which can’t be an easy thing to do, but she’s done it with grace. ❤️
I'm also sensitive to coconut oil, and these are some "clean" products which are coconut oil and cocoa butter free and have never broken me out. Cheeks - Ere Perez carrot pots. If you are keen to try that "poppy red cream blush in a pot" trend that seems to be so big with a lot of celebs, the shade Hello is perfect Highlight - nude by nature soft focus highlight. Very gold FYI, and also works well mixed in with or under foundation :)

I absolutely love Emma... Not just for her acting chops but the way she conducts herself and never shies of expressing her opinions and feelings about things that really matter.... From equal pay to sexual or otherwise harrassment at work place which fo most of us working women is a way of life.... Being a doctor I have faced discrimination myself being mistaken for a nurse being the most common... It would be hilarious if it wasn't so irritating!!! Now for the video!!!! I love this series of yours and I really appreciate the aesthetics of all your posts!!! And ofcourse your ideas! I have bought a fair bit of make up and skin care products after watching you describe them and they have so well so far... The most remarkable one is the Dior hydrating gel face mask! You should try too cool for school! They’re a more high end Korean-American brand that have smaller ranges within . Dinoplatz is the most popular range, sold at Bloomingdales, Sephora, Nordstrom, etc. Their jelly lip balm and cushy blusher as well as their tube eyeshadows are amazing, very minimal makeup with a great variety also love the bronzers from their Rodin range!
I love this series and all the cream products mentioned.The Ilia multi-sticks look to die for. They are def on my next purchase list..Love the Bite Beauty multisticks but the formula is a little matte for me now that I"m moving towards a more dewy and moisturized look. Emma Watson is an effortless beauty. Great video as always, Matilda!!

the body shop lip and cheek stain is a ride or die product for me!! pomegranate and vineyard peach are always in my makeup bag, they're just so light and easy to wear 💕
I would love to see you try Korean skincare! They have lots of options for dry skin types (as the main focus is hydration) and the products are often made from natural ingredients! x

Thank you Rika! 😄 Absolutely, it's why I don't go out to shop for these videos because it wouldn't be helpful (not to mention extremely expensive as this is only my hobby!) I really like the tint, such a lovely red and there's something nice about knowing Emma loves it too x
I definately blame you for my RMS obsession. Have you tried Kosås tinted skin oil? It seems something that would be up your aisle. It's barely "foundation" and really let's your skin take centre stage. Also clean! I use literally four drops for my whole face.
Haha sorry about that! 😄 I bought the Kosas tint last year but haven't been wearing any tinted moisturiser at all for about 7 months. It's appeared on my Instagram @matildaonvideo, and I'm certainly planning to try it soon! x

Love this one! Very simple products, and yet effective. I am very into 90s beauty look (e.g. Winona Ryder in 90s). Would love to see a celebrities bag for those looks! Also, would you consider teaching us how to work a red eye look? I have light-medium skin tone, but find it really hard to apply red-ish eyeshadow and still look effortless:)

I also love the Kjaer Weis lip tints, but the packing not so much. They always open up if I have them loose in my bag and when I open them they I almost always get the product all over my fingers 😂😂 I really love their brand philosophy though, lover’s choice is my fav shade. Absolutely love this series! I'm never sure on the word influencer but have to say you have influenced many purchases for me. I have quite a minimal makeup collection really (I only have one mascara, one tinted moisturiser, one highlight etc) with the exception of lip colour - definitely my weakness! X

I live in the US, and there is a shop here called Blue Mercury, at least where I live, and they have an in house brand called Lune+Aster that I think might be up your alley (and also I'm kind of interested in it to and there are aren't many videos about the brand )
Oils, unless they has specific active ingredients, aren’t really generally a good treatment for chicken skin, especially if they’re comedogenic. Try focusing on exfoliating and treatments that address hyperpigmentation- like an acid toner. The ordinary has a good selection. Then moisturize with a rich but gentle product like cerave moisturizing cream.

You should try the colourpop lux lipsticks I use the shade still crazy because it’s my exact lip color but better but they have some reds I think you would like , they’re crazy pigmented smooth and only 9$ but the package feels very luxurious
Fav Emma Watson movies have got to be the Harry Potter series and the Perks of Being a Wallflower! Great video as always - I have to check out that Fur oil. Heard so many people rave about it!
