I picked some used XSRs in a pawn shop for a rental kit, but liked them so much I incorporated them into my performance kit. A great sounding cymbal for the price. Thanks for the video, Emmanuelle!
Absolutely amazing performance Emmanuelle! Wonderful setup as well. Always a privilege watching your skills and talent. My best wishes for you. Greetings from Buenos Aires!☺
I got the Xs20 set a few months ago on a really good clearance and I am loving them. I will probably have them for a long time, but it's good to know Sabian is continuing the same (if not better) quality for the same "budget friendly" price point. Thanks for the demo, Emmanuelle!
Nice cymbal demo. I always thought the XS20 cymbals sounded pretty good and the XSR cymbals might take it up a notch. Just like how there are excellent sounding drums at lower price points the XS20 and Paiste PS7 cymbals sound very good for not a lot of money.
V Fam i could be wrong but i believe they are vic firth buddy rich wood tip !!! Im usually not interested in signature sticks but i found these and they are awsome :)
Great video!!! One of the best technical drum vids I've seen so far. Very helpful for me as I re-learn my drumming several years of not drumming. I'll check some more vids by you as well. This time around I am learning traditional jazz grip on my left hand, so it's adding a new way of playing for me too :-D
Fantastic demo! I am looking for a 20 inch ride cymbal and I am a bit out of the loop with the new cymbals. Haven't bought one for many years. The Sabian XS medium ride I heard is good. And I see the Sabian XSR medium ride is the new version. The XSR has a larger bell than the XS. Does the larger bell make a difference when strike it? Also, in comparison to the Sabian line, is the Zildjian S Medium Ride 20 inch( a bit lighter in weight). Appreciate anyone's input. Thank you.
Im a Zildjian guy, but Im seriously about to spend the next 5 hours transcribing these grooves. Cant wait to get home and learn them! I love how much fun she has while playing!
_"Im a Zildjian guy"_ Another unoriginal twat... I go with whatever suits my taste. I don't care what's written on the cymbal. You obviously pay for the name -.-
j'ai un sonor 3005 avec quelque pieces d'un 3006, mais j'aime le son que tu reproduit a jouer ce model de sonor et les symbales,,, extraordinaire ! merci pour tes performances en lignes!
startdrumming.de "Tast?" You mean taste? No do you want me to give you a list? I've been a drummer since your mummy was wiping your nose. 90% of Drummer's i grew up with listening to played Paiste and A series Zildjian's. Only drummer off the top of my head because i just woke up that used those things is Peart. Bonham (just him alone) said the only cymbals that could take a beating and the sound he loved so much was from Paiste. Go listen to the reissued Paiste Giant Beats then come talk. The sticker shock will scare you but the sound is extraordinary! Many people don't buy Paiste because they're so expensive that's why
I just wish someone would demo the XSR Rock series.. I'm getting the XSR set that includes the 18 china but was wanting to add a 17 and 19 Crash and seen they had Xsr Rock Series cymbals now but can't find any videos on them.
Sounds a bit like the King Kong Beat... I just spoke to THE Pete DePoe, who created the King Kong Beat, and he wants you to know that he appreciates the recognition. Pete talks about the origins of the groove in his memoir, “King Kong Pete,” available at Amazon.
