I hope this version of Aaron doesn't last long. I find it so unrealistic how he talked to Paddy,no matter how angry Aaron was at Chas he always adored Paddy.
He is angry at Paddy for considering suicide. Paddy says he cares about him and his daughter and never gave them a second thought when he was about to off himself.
@notsureiL People who suffer from that when it really gets down that bad tend to switch off about caring and have one goal in mind being to end it. I'd know from my many personal experiences of almost ending it... but having said that, thoughts of my family were enough to prevent me from doing so or so I thought until they really hit me down hard.
I don’t care how Aaron feels or what he’s going through that was absolutely horrible and cruel the way he just spoke and treated Paddy that was totally uncalled for Paddy didn’t deserve that or to be spoken to like that Paddy is one of the nicest and kindest people in the village
Ok that was completely uncalled for, even for Dark!Aaron. But something tells me that he's actually really hurt by Paddy's suicide attempt, like he said he and Eve would have lost their Dad on top of everything else if he'd gone through with it. Paddy is one of the few people who truly understands Aaron and can get him to let his defences down and talk. I think Aaron lashed out in that horrible way to stop Paddy getting close to him. As long as Aaron keeps everyone at a distance, then his shield of being horrible will protect him from having to deal with everything he's lost. Liv, Robert, his marriage, Seb, his home. Its a defence mechanism. That doesn't excuse how he spoke to Paddy, he was bang out of order but I can kind of understand it.
yep. There's also the fact that he knew about the affair and didn't say anything, we all know how guilt affects Aaron. I bet some part of him feels responsible for what happened

Clearly this is Aaron hiding his emotions given how that the circumstances of both Liv's death and Chas' betrayal have taken a devastating toll on his life, not to mention losing Robert as well as Jackson and even following his traumatic ordeal with Gordon. The truth is that Liv was the source of Aaron mellowing his character from an anti-hero into a much more heroic protagonist, even in spite of what Gordon did to him as well as losing Robert and all the other problems that they all went through. But then Chas' affair with Al and then Liv's death happened - both of which have led to Aaron disowning his mother and steadily becoming the bad boy he was once again due to his "eternal" grief over Liv's death and Chas' betrayal. It's gonna be unfortunate that his next stint will come out unpleasant and antagonistic from the starting point, but hopefully it won't last too long because Aaron is just one of those characters who has suffered too many ordeals - particularly with the abuse he endured from his father. But then something tells me that in Aaron's perspective, what Gordon did to him was no longer the worst thing that happened to him - it was losing Liv and what Chas did to Paddy at the same time that would prove to be a lot worse for him because that's his happiness crashing down on him. Plus Aaron behaved how he was in 2008 because of what Gordon did to him in the past. Here, this will be him beginning to behave who he was because of Liv dying and Chas' betrayal. I'm not gonna deny that Chas is still one of my favourite all-time Emmerdale characters even after everything that has happened, but the way how she partially hurt Aaron through her betrayal of Paddy through her affair with Al is truly consequential in the most devastating way. In other words, Chas is hardly sympathetic these days since her affair with Al and it's also hard to discredit Aaron's behaviour as unsympathetic given how hurt he was AND still is to this day. Either way, I am glad that Aaron is back on the show - let's just home that the writers don't make the character suffer too much because the Aaron who became less anti-heroic and impulsive that we all grew to love is what everybody prefers nowadays.
Aaron is cruel to Paddy that man has always been nice to Aaron. He treats Aaron like a son. Disappointing Aaron behaviour he is grieving Liv. I get that. But he is too mean now.
Everybody needs to understand that Aaron suffered a lot all his life. The rape. Chas who loves aaron but put herself first. Like giving a lecture to aaron and she is not a good example of perfect woman. Lost robert a family he build a child they wanted etc. I dont know in his place how i reacted. Its understandable that Aaron acts like that. Everybody disapointed him. Chas betrayed the man that Aaron consideres a father. Aaron when he is hurt this is the way he reacts and he is right. Above all he doesnt have anymore a place to leave. His own house. That must hurt. Living with chas is not the best option. He is sleeping in any place. I am worried about him! I hope something better comes. I hope for robert return. I never lost my hope for Aaron have is happy ending with Robert

Apparently there's gonna be new cheating (shockin, I know) storyline coming. I so hope it's Nicola cheating Jimmy. Just so Jimmy can divorce her and find someone who treats him better. Yeah, yeah. Aaron's dark now but did they really have to make him like towards Paddy? What he has done to him but been loving and supportive? Aaron should save his malice to those who deserves it, in other words to Chas.
@@spencerreid2086I get that, I just feel there would have been other ways to do that. These shows are pretty toxic and young kids, vulnerable and easily influence people watch them.
