Emmerdale - Adam Tells The Police That He Killed Emma (21st December 2017) 

After found out his mother confesses the truth, Adam decides to tells the police that he killed Emma, not Moira. Adam 'explain' what happened to Benton in his own story and orders him to let his mother go. Later, Benton take Adam to the cell before telling him that he is going to be charge of the murder of Emma Barton. Benton close the door on Adam who broke down in the cell.
Poor Adam!
