I love courtroom scenes like this!!:) The fact that the judge slams the gavel down and shouts "order" is just truly shocking and engaging to the viewers watching!
This had to be one of the best dramatic scenes in the years of Emmerdale I’ve ever seen. Meena has been the best villainous character in television over the past year. She is such an amazing actress.

They had to end her storyline at some point. They'll just have to build up another villian but not to the same levels of Meena. A show can't be full blown bonkers and crazy all the time like they did with Meena.

I was gobsmacked when Carol stabbed Meena in the head with the glass shard in a packed courtroom just after Meena was found Guilty for murdering Leanna, Andrea and Ben and started kicking off. I was even more surprised that Meena suddenly woke up and held the whole court room hostage by threatening to kill poor Manpreet again and escape. That's just sick, there should've been tighter security in the courtroom than just Iain to control and restrain Meena as she was extremely dangerous or just have Meena appear at her trial via Video Link. But I was glad when Meena was recaptured and got what she deserved in the end - A Whole Life Sentence. But I must admit Meena's storyline on Emmerdale was really entertaining (Though it did get dragged on for too long and some parts didn't make any sense) and Paige Sandhu's performance was just INCREDIBLE! 👏💖
You should watch the end of the US Miniseries Celebrity where a shocking secret comes to light. A member of a Religious Organization ie A Televangelist gets stabbed for going on trail for murder. She was raped by him when she was a Teenager in 1950, they thought she died but she was in shock, she was known as Sister Crystal but in reality her name was Laurie.
It was great paige did a great job but you see a hate form some idiots on twitter for meena and paige, hopefully she wins a couple of awards at the british soap awards that might shut the haters up
People are not haters for being bored of a plot being dragged out. Also they are not hating on the actress. They are bored of the repetitive writing across the soaps. The story arcs used to be better. Now it is merely bad people fighting bad people. The rapists/murderers are accepted and the decent people are now serial killers.
I honestly thought she would be found not guilty because she was SO convincing and how her defence ripped into Liam and Manpreet. So glad she was found guilty
Emmerdale did this episode so badly but as someone said it's soapland for example in real life a person so dangerous as Meena would have security all a round her she wouldn't get the chance to take Manpreet hostage and have freedom to walk around the court room 😂
Yep, I remember going this insane when everyone mentioned Prince Philip while I was freaking grieving. No one seen anything like it when I flipped out. At least no one was hurt as Mummy was there to finally calm me down
Finally she got what she deserved but Meena was a good character we shall miss her and wish her the best in future and hope we see more of her on screen doing dramas as Paige is a good actress
We have not seen the end of Meena Jutla. She will escape. She makes her way to South America and eventually cross the Mexican and US boarder. With a new identity she manages to amass a small fortune in Las Vegas as she plots her revenge. Look out Emmerdale.
Did he seriously ask the father of a murder victim to help her murderer? what a plonker, I know doctors should help those in need but he shouldn't have to be asked to help his daughters murderer because she was injured, I certainly wouldn't ask that to a victims family member if I was a judge, so ridiculous
I loved the way all those random members of the public in the gallery looked absolutely terrified - and all simply sat down on Meena's orders. Why didn't they just run for their lives - its not as if Meena would have reached them and attacked them. Or did they just wander in to the court as they saw it was Manpreet and Meena off the telly? Epic episode - and Meena is still alive!

As someone said I'll repeat it again lazy writing one way they could make it up to it is to have her escape now that would be a good way to end the story after a little while because no one's going to get closure now either the fans of Meena they will want to see her escape or dead either would be good I mean it would definitely make for a good story in reality no but that's dropping the backdrop story then as everyone says it's only a show I really do like to get immersed in it
I love how trials in Soapland happen like 2 weeks after someone is arrested. One of my workmates was arrested for murder 18 month ago and still hasnt been to trial!
I was supposed to be called up for jury service in like 2 weeks and this video is making me SO glad I got excused from it because of uni exams. I mean I'm SURE real life courtrooms are nothing like this but... yikes :/
As for the courts, they had no right whatsoever to detain Meena Jutla's victim for the harm she did to her family. Shame on the courts and the judge there. Time for that Judge and Police Officers to read an important passage from the Bible called "an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth". As for Meena, you have no right to tell the court what to do, that's up to a Judge, NOT YOU, so rot in Naraka, Hindu for Hell!! I don't care if I was a doctor and took an oath if someone I didn't like needed care I would rather spend the rest of my life in prison than help them. People get what they deserve.
