Nice to see Thomas Atkinson get some publicity. He is best young actor on the show.

He is so beautiful and kind in real life

I met him last year and he was very friendly even when I asked if he was leaving he said why do you want me to and his face went red.

He seems like a nice young actor. But his character has gone off the rails.

Lachlan was my favourite actor in Emmerdale cause he was sooooo cool with the benne and he was dating Belle Dingle and I wish I was him except when he was killing people hope everyone understands

Were the producers having a laugh? At the beginning of the segment, Iain listed three of Lachlan's victims as Amos Brearley, Seth Armstrong and Annie Sugden - three of Emmerdale's classic characters from the 1970s who haven't been on for decades. And yes Thomas Atkinson has grown up to be quite the beefy hunk. I hope the producers can give the character a brain tumor or a secret twin so we don't lose the actor lol

A ridiculous storyline, but then we are talking about the laughable pantomime Emmerdale has become. A small Yorkshire Dales village racking up bodies due to suspicious circumstances, all having Lachlan White connections, and all we ever see is the occasional appearance of a couple of plods staking out Ross Barton for selling a few dodgy cars. If this farcical scenario was even remotely true to life, there’d be CID officers all over it like a tramp on a bag of chips, with national (never mind local) press and TV reporters permanently camped in t’Woolly. It used to be called ‘Emmerdale Farm’, now it’s time to rename it ‘Emmerdale Farce’.
