The piano solo was kind of obnoxious and long winded. Just as an idiot who came here to listen to the song, I don't really care for the solos.

@@simonvidal6158 I listen to anything that sounds good and plenty of jazz.. In my opinion, the solos are obnoxious. You won't convince me that they are amazing, because they're just not. You can go on trying to minimize and delegitimize my opinion if that's so important to you. I'm just going to continue living my life and enjoying actual good jazz solos that have a real artistic function other than to stroke the player's ego. They should leave this garbage at the session and bring only the best to their performances, nothing more, nothing less.

STOP ALREADY - how much incredible young talent can us old-folk handle!?….joke - keep it coming. Martina’s phrasing - I had the feeling that she was giving added meaning to the lyrics. If I only knew Portuguese. Lucas Pino - brilliant evolution of Getz’s lyricism.

One of my favourite things about these shows (apart from just how good everyone sounds) is watching how the different performers, especially the guests, react to each other's solos. It seemed like Martina really enjoyed Russell's solo, but I think Lucas appreciated Emmet's more.

He’s tuning down his E string to hit a lower note than he could normally hit, some people get extensions to play lower but I guess he didn’t have one.
