in the world of music emmure has a distinctive sound. when you hear it you know it's emmure. if any band can achieve that in this kind of music your good in my book

i think people make things way more complicated then it needs to be when it comes to Emmure. people complain that the lyrics are cheese-y or stupid and the songs are simple, but whats the problem? its not like they started off as Dream Theater and became this, and they never tried to sell themselves as a band that is super technical and has Shakespearean depth lyrics. its just like a metal version of party music. its simple and not very brilliant, but its fun as hell to enjoy in the right mood. and for what they are, they do that amazingly. if your looking for a band thats great for moshing or just releasing anger or enjoying time with friends, this is as good as it gets just about. and i have to say, people that go into Emmure expecting a technical genius band thats revolutionizing the music genre need to learn to know what they're getting themselves into. if you stumble upon Emmure and say "oh i dont like this" thats fine. but to nitpick their value because you cant enjoy anything thats not overly complex isn't the bands fault, its yours for not knowing how to find bands based on your tastes. i personally dont enjoy Black Metal as much as other sub-genres, but i dont go to every video and say "well shit, the quality on this sucks and the lyrics aren't very uplifting" when people act like Emmure was the next Meshuggah or Necrophagist just makes me think that they go into Mcdonalds and complain when they cant get tacos.

Never understood why people hated on these dudes? When I think of this genre of music this band stands out to me and they put on a hell of a live show amazing energy

Emmure has the heaviest, most powerful and energetic sound I have ever heard in my life. I have tried to research bands that are similar, and nothing comes close to their incredible rhythm and drumming composition and creativity. They know how to improvise on their patterning to make it unpredictable and exciting. I hate music involving nonsensical screaming, so I'm really not a heavy metal fan haha, but I just can't resist their incredibly energetic ground breaking music.

emmure may not be the most technical band out there, in fact they are far from it. but they do still have their own sound, and are all chill guys including Frankie and the new line up. their love shows are fun as fuck and brutal! Non stop pits, and they play all their songs flawless.

Heard someone say Emmure is to deathcore what your typical trap artist is to hip-hop. Couldn't agree more. Everybody shits on them but it's still fun to listen to.

I always listen to Emmure and I have 3 of their albums: Slave to the game, Felony and Speaker of the dead. I have to be honest, most of the videos are kinda pointless like this was just a girl about to give a guy a bj and MDMA is just Frankie shouting in a house with the rest of the band smoking weed but I don't care because personally I think they produce great music even if they are nowhere near my favourite band. I am looking forward to their new album this year :D
