Couldn’t agree more, Emmure has finally moved from “absolute shit” to “ehhh they’re kinda decent I guess”. Been hoping for them to crawl out of their shithole for a long time now.

Their first 3 were mediocre. Speaker of the Dead and Slave to The Game were fucking awesome.

emmure still have that metallic hardcore enegry that is missing in so much of modern metalcore/deathcore band nowadays, every band is doing the same thing with that super ridiculously overproduced and pulished production that is barely listenable for someone needing something heavy.

Met Frankie at a gig in Oklahoma. Have been a fan since Felony and loved them ever since. Will die with record in hand.

Goodbye to the Gallows in 2007 was one of the best hardcore/metal albums of that year in my opinion. Everyone was on that shit! I remember seeing these dudes play the shittiest bar in Kent, Ohio. Fucking crazy!

Alfie Shaw same. I like Emmure but to be honest, just a few songs on each Album. But the new I have listened trough and trough. Nothing better than a beer and Emmure in the background.

It's funny I'm an Emmure fan. And this album honestly sounds like most albums they've produced. I think changing their lineup changed people's perspective on the band lol

Evan Wiger I agree. They don't sound all that different...maybe more samey? I can't seem to really choose a song from this new album that stands out and doesn't bleed into the next song. I think they didn't change at all and took a step backwards. Sounds harsh but...when you market an album solely around the fact that it's the best and different but then....isn't, it's dissapointing to say the least.

Rui Carneiro there are gems sprinkled throughout their discography, but, yeah, Look At Yourself is their strongest release yet.

Rui Carneiro Funny though. Like Frankie said in an interview "I tried to tell the other guys that our records don't sound as good as they should" I guess he meant what he had to say. The new E is far beyond a better direction. Cannot even be compared to the earlier materials. The only song i barely even got through listening to, is Solar Flare Homicide. The intro on that song is fucking smashing and disgustingly heavy. And yes... i went through their records and it were utter shit. Absolute garbage. Like i said... the new E is a whole new dimension, world i don't even know what word to put here 😂

I saw them with this lineup before LAY went out - Joshua borrowed hat from someone and did that "tongue" thing as he always do :D they were awesome!

When I saw them it was in Saratoga springs N.Y., I was disappointed because they played on the same stage as Ill Nino and didn't play La Epidemea, either way was still a phenomenal show
