Emmure is one of those bands that you either understand completely or not at all. They play simple, emotionally charged music. If you expect anything else from Emmure, you're gonna be disappointed. I'm puzzled that people still criticize them for being simple. And just because they play simple music doesn't mean they aren't talented. They are simply minimalists by approach. This is the music they choose to play.

The melodic riff in this song is amazing. I love it.

Love them or hate them...they out on one hell of a live show.

When it comes down to it good or bad Emmure will still be making music and living the life 3/4 of everyone reading this wish they could live. the fact that they actually called a song protoman makes my respect go up for emmure. this seems pretty sick, im actually impressed that mike and jesse are trying something different with their parts, they're actually harmonizing and doing things other than breakdowns. it seems more full than previous singles. if they keep it up, the album should be pretty great!

I know a lot of people hate Emmure and I can understand why, but I seriously don't see how someone consider this "shit". It's not constant chugging, it's original and fresh, and the song progresses seamlessly from section to section, each of which possessing something special. Seriously, stop hating because it's the cool thing to do. A TRUE musician and fan always keeps an open mind.

This album was badass. As far as classifying Emmure into a genre, wow there's a lot people saying deathcore and I just saw some guy say that they're "djent" metal. I don't know what you guys are hearing but Emmure is just plain metalcore, maybe back in 06' they were deathcore but not anymore.

i dont see why people complain about there music sounding like there stuff before. i dont know about you, but i hate when a band changes dramaticly. i liked them for how they sound for a reason lol and i want them to keep that sound. look at ac/dc, there music now sounds very much like there stuff yeeaaaarrrrrsss ago, and thats what made them succesful.

Emmure is just a heavy hitting band. personally one of my favorites. They are simple and they get to the point. If you dont like it dont go out of your way to bash it. So what if its only like 5 lines of dialogue, its layed out in a badass eway full of breakdowns and drops. This isnt Mozart it doesnt have to be genius it just has to sound good. and if you ask me it does. it sounds damn good!
