Definitely an underground record with a mainstream touch. A well-rounded album and their hard work and passion for it shows in the music. It is aged very well and so has the band.
Cole, I must of watched that part like 12 times the first time I saw the video. I loved it. HUGE horror fan so yes sir, I definitely caught it as soon as it happened. I thought the whole video was great. Emmure is one of my favorite bands and I love how you let us see a more in-depth look on how they went about recording their new album. I pre ordered it just so I can see the full DVD. I cant wait to see the rest!
I'm not one to listen to this type of genre, as I prefer rock bands like Alter Bridge, Breaking Benjamin, Korn, Deftones etc. I'm not one for the screaming vocals. I did go out and buy this album though just to try it out, and I do enjoy it. I will listen to it whenever I'm looking for something a little heavy. I don't plan on ever listening to any other deathcore band, but I guess Emmure is tolerable. I felt a Korn, Limp Bizkit and Deftones vibe on a few of these songs, but I did read those are influences on the band.
I found this album to be the definition of a mixed bag. It had some of the best things they ever did in their entire career and then.....stuff like E lol. Look at yourself was their career defining moment for me. The first Emmure album that was gold from start to finish
Is this documentary online anywhere? I already own Eternal Enemies on cd and vinyl, so I can't justify buying It a third time just to get this DVD. Love the album btw!
Loloking forward to hearing the first release, litle snipets are cool, but hearing the power of a complete song will give a better idea of the overall direction of where Emmure is headed. I saw them live in TN and they were aggressive and powerful just what I expect. Looking forward to new music.
I freaking love the album! They really did bringed something insane to the table! It's great! Don't understand why anyone would have anything against it, if you dislike it. You're problably not a Emmure fan in the first place. :P
Not a MASSIVE Emmure fan but this album will definitely be on my Ipod. If not for the album then for the prod. and drums, the drummers is pretty awesome
Why is this scene or any studio footage not on my DVD? I bought a package deal from victory records with the EL DVD and it cuts out after the demo argument scene. What the hell....
Alright so I got this documentary recently and it's not even close to what this video trys to make it seem. It's pretty much just a half hour of Frankie talking and getting ready for interviews. You have little clips here and there with Mike and Jesse. Then you got Frankie and Mark arguing over a demo. There's no footage of them actually in the studio. I guess they used all of that footage for this video. I love emmure but damn, this "documentary" is really shitty. Just thrown together it seems. So if you are thinking about buying this I wouldn't recommend but it's whatever. You can watch it once, but probably won't again after.
I'm a Christian and I love Emmure to death. Idec. I met Frankie at a concert once and he is a sweetheart. I just think people need to take a breathe and enjoy the music. That's all ✌️
Just release a song. I'm starting to think we will hear a new song from as I lay dying with Tim lambesis before we here the first single from this record....
They release a guitar clip at 2:40 of an actual, catchy and rather melodic riff. But the two songs they've released are just breakdown after breakdown. Come on...
Well it's their band so whatever they want to play that's what their going to play.. No ones forcing you too listen. Personally I love emmure's simple heavy songs! When I want something more technical I listen to one of those type of bands. Emmure kicks ass and this album is awesome and heavy! Love it
do the franky breath! lets make that a thing where we sing and between every word we franky breath it'll be great we'll all be famous ...but fr does he have asthma or something
it's funny how I see a bunch of you talking shit about a song title called " bring a gun to school " .... have any of you ever thought about what your doing? i mean, yes the title may not be very approachable...but you are all doing exactly what THEY WANT which IS MARKETING. now if you're going to bash on a band, keep your comments to yourself when it comes to something like that because as the end of the day all you're doing is helping them out with a marketing strategy, WHY would the track list be released months before a launch and not like a week before.... now wait for the album and listen to the fucking music. then maybe you can criticize... 98.9% of you are probably going to download the shit anyways. -end rant. thanks.
