Insurance will cover the house damage, the renter has been compensated 131k so far for her contents, If found to be DUI, it will be a 1st time charge, no felony a misdemeanor, speeding, almost hit someone is driving wreckless, no one else injured, property damage on garage door. She'll slip by on severe charges.

They got the warrant shortly after this accident, so yes they took samples of her blood. That is standard procedure for incidents like this.

If they didn’t get blood, it would only be because she was so badly burned, they couldn’t find a source. I’m relatively sure they got their sample.

The doctor that spoke on the news said her lungs were damaged by the smoke inhalation! Then the news said she was brain dead! I've seen 2 people that were brain dead and they could NOT pull covers off of themselves, let alone sit up! WAKE UP EVERYBODY! Stop believing the lying news and believe your own eyes! That was not a brain dead woman in a coma that sat up on the gurney! What made her drive like that? Why is this case closed before the reason why she was speeding like that was revealed! Out of every comment I've read, this is the most thought provoking. I feel this same way regarding my mom. Whenever I attempted to call her out for her favoritism towards my sibling and other hurtful things she's done over the years, it never gets resolved and quickly turns into explosive anger on her end, trying to paint me as the person with issues. This is her pattern: 1) Gets very defensive and angry with me 2) Denies that she's done anything 3) Dismisses me by cutting me off while I'm talking and telling me that all I do is bring up the past. (Yet, she still brings up things that pissed her off 50 + years ago.) 4) Starts listing everything she's done for me in my life, as if she did me favors (paid for my prom dresses, bought new clothes when a new school year started, etc.). She brings up the same "favors" to make me feel guilty for bringing up anything hurtful she's done. 5) Yells at me to get out of her face or kiss her ass. I am almost 50 and nothing has been resolved. I think she believes that dismissing or downplaying what I have to say, will make me forget or leave it alone. But it doesn't. It has made the hate I have towards her grow over the years, along with depression and suicidal thoughts. Thank God that I didn't let my anger and depression spiral to the point it put innocent people in harms way. I cannot afford therapy, so venting to a friend or two over the years and on the internet has helped me to get it out of my system a bit. It always amazes me how offenders, like my mom can inflict pain but can't take responsibility for it and gets mad at me for remembering and calling her out. Now I'm in the process of writing my mom a long letter detailing all grievances I have that she dismissed. I don't care if she apologizes or not, at this point. It just matters that she sees how serious this is to me and has it on her conscience. I don't know the insider info. about Anne's family dynamics and if they took responsibility for pain they caused her. But I do know that no matter the pain (favoritism, abuse, abandonment, etc.), takes a toll on you for a very long time. I hate that Anne wrecked that homeowner's life but I can see how her years of mental issues could have had a domino effect that led to this.

Maybe read up on NPD, childhood trauma. Informing yourself isn't the same as therapy but it's cheaper. Often, one needs to separate from, go without contact in order to heal. Peace and healing to you.

It's just very hard suppressing all of this, knowing that my mom said and did whatever she wanted all of these years, dismissing how I felt in the process. She's in her late 70s now and should not get away with thinking she was this great parent to me, just because she's up in age. She had a very dear, younger brother who had died in a speeding car crash into a tree, which was later ruled a suicide. I saw Anne in an interview about this.. She actually broke down into tears & called him her Angel!!.. I hope this background did not influence her, but it certainly must affect her subconsciously!.. In the interview, she said that she still misses her little brother every day!!..😢 💗
