+emmymadeinjapan Hiya Emmy! Very fun and educational as always! Say did you or anyone ever have those slabs of bubblegum that came with some collector cards? The only flavors I remember are sour apple and purple grape. Apple was bright green. I used to chew the whole thing at once and my mouth and lips would be green or purple. I'm talking about a SLAB of gum. It was big. Same size as card but WAY thicker and coated in powdery sugar.
I'm ecuadorian and i've been watching EMmyMadeInJapan for more than a year, and every time I watch your videos I wonder how many ecuadorian people watch your channel too. It's amazing that someone finally sent to you a package from Ecuador!!! At first saw the flag and I got so excited. Although I would have made a different food selection hehehehe, and everytime i see some on ecuadorian food on the supermarket it comes to my mind, I'd send this to Amy hahahaha.
I agree. I'm ecuadorian and I recognize all those treats and I like them, but I also think there are definitely better ones, I was a bit dissapointed...
I have watched other vids on RU-vid about tasting foreign food and so far Emmy is the most polite and open-minded in trying new flavors and tastes. She doesn't badmouth the product or say bad things about it. But if she really doesn't like the product she would just say she doesn't care for it.
I love this!! I'm ecuadorian and my grandma's brother owns the factory which makes those Chocobanano things! I remember eating a lot of those as a kid and my younger cousins love it!
iam ecuadorian and u should try the real ecuadorian treat like ...tango,manicho,la lecherera candy bar,k- chitos, soda manzana does are the real ecuadorian treats 😊
The besitos look like iced gems that you get in the UK (I don't know if you get them anywhere else). Except iced gems have different coloured meringue tops.
Naranjilla is great for making pasta sauces and salsa. My tutu wahine (Grandmother in Hawaiian) used to use it to make Portuguese bean soup too. Its a very interesting flavor. Usually tart.
Buen Provecho! I am from Ecuador and i have to say that you did put a lot of tang, that amount is for 4 or 5 and even more people not for just one, that is why it was so sweet
a lite tip, for the tang you have to have to add more water in a "beverage dispenser" or a big cup....like that the tang doesn't taste really sweet or strong flavor. thank for doing this amazing video I love it !!! it feels great to go back to my childhood when I use to eat the Ecuadorian candy😃😊🙍🙋💗💗
You need to try Konitos, tangos, manicho, what else I'm missing, that candy bar called Galak and anything that's Nestle chocolate but from Ecuador of course!!!
Emmy Tang is also very popular here in the Philippines and I don't mean to be rude or anything but I think that packet is good for a liter of water. Still, nice vid!
Emmy, I'm sure you know Passion Fruit :) that's maracuja. It's a beautiful flower and a really tasty fruit (sour and sweet the same time). If you really don't know, you must try that fruit, not necessarily on video, just enjoy it ;)
Naranjilla is one of my favorite flavors from Ecuador, and hard to get anywhere else. The closest I've found to the flavor is star fruit. Thanks for your videos..they are so much fun!
We have maracuyá here in Brazil too (maracujá, portuguese_brazil). You said it had a sweet taste, but it happens because of the insane amount of sugar they put in these powders. The passion fruit (maracuyá, maracujá) actually is sour.
Maracuya is passion fruit. Naranjilla is a fruit all in its own. Looks like an orange with a similar looking peel with a greenish coloured fruit. Emmy, I remember once you did a Lay's "Do Us A Flavour" taste test. Here in Canada, we have the same contest but with different flavours. When the contest comes around again, shall I send you some?
When I was a kid there was this gum that came in a thick rectangle lightly covered in icing sugar. It came with collectible cards-Madd? Garbage Kids? Idk. The only 2 flavors I ever had were green apple and grape. If they came in others Idk because that sour apple and purple grape were my favs. Sometimes my bros and I would chew a whole stinking block at once! Massive amount of bubblegum lol!TY Emmy!😍🍏🍇
Oh, how I wish I was you! You get to taste food from all around the world, especially from small countries! I absolutely love food from around the world, the only food/snacks I get to try are Chinese, Japanese, and Indian food! If we could do a trade that would be absolutely awesome even though we both live in the States.
Im surprised that pretty much everything you ate here are things that you can find in Panama as well. Its awesome! I love turron, specially. Its a tradition to serve that and marzipan for the holidays.
I don't know about the Tang but that white candy looks like something I'd like to try. I love nougat. Didn't even know they still made Tang. I wonder if they still sell them in the states.
early morning I was curious of her RU-vid Channel & watched "Emmy eats Philippines" sweets...all those reminds me of my life way back home, and my childhood sweets as well.Oh this Tang drink mix,all in one!:D))))))
Naranjilla's natural fruit is more like lemon, but it is bittersweet-ish. It's weird, it is available most of the year here in CR, and it packs a punch of vitamin C.
Those rectangular coconut biscuits are like something we have in the UK called Nice (pronounced "nEEs") biscuits which are very nice with a cup of tea.
you should eat this type of chocolate called tango it's from Ecuador btw I'm so happy this video includes my country! you can also make choco banana home made!
Yeaaah... Ecuador represent... Naranjilla is a exotic fruit, when the Spanish conquered america latinoamerica, they called this plant ; LA PLANTA DEL DIABLO (The Devil plant ), because both the flower and the fruit is direrente to other fruits, and flavor is unique..... i like youre vlog, is the first time I see and I start seeing something of my country, you have ONE subscriber more.
alguien q le diga a la chinita q ese sobre se diluye en jarra de cristal de 2litros no en un vasito pequeño.. le va a dar diabettes de esa manera! Jajajajajaja
