Awesome vid, I've been trying to research how to do this for a "dress how you would in high school" party and your vid has the simplest directions and best results! One little thing for the viewers, the comb Alice uses is called a "rat tail comb" hope that makes it easier to find!
I wash the lace before every wear but only wash the full wig if it gets dirty or has a lot of product build up. Just like with real hair, daily washing can be damaging and dry out the fibers :)
Is it better to start with a wig with a side part already? Ive typically had middle part wigs and tried to style, make it a side part via trial ans error but havent in quite a long time so out of practice. Also awesome video and tips! Very helpful.
@AliceHellFox Thank you do much! I kinda figured as much, but wasn't sure, cause the cut and part looked on the wig was so well done, couldn't tell if it was bought like that, or if it was that you are just freaking amazing at cutting and styling it. I know when you first cut and change the part, it takes awhile for it to set, and once it does, it stays in place. So I wasn't sure if this was just freshly bought and cut, and parted prior to filming, or if its one that had been previously. Which is why I asked. But awesome! Thanks again! If you ever do a video on tips on how to cut it, Id love to see your methods. Just by watching the styling of this video, I can kinda get a basis of how it was cut with the long wig and parted. So Im sure I can do the longer bangs! Ive only ever done short emo/scene bangs, so definitely can't wait to try the long bangs for the super volume. ^-^ (Currently have my hair groing out from a epic buzz cut so been itching for long hair while waiting for this to grow out.)
