How do you manage emotional clutter?

Have been managing all my emotional clutter through journaling, is the only way to go - since my therapist left me for my CBT - and i cant be using people as a punching bag - so organising my thoughts on journal gives me clarity.

The Emotion Code by Dr Brad found me 4 years ago and I started clearing my trapped emotions using the book. It was so amazing that I trained as a practitioner. I've cleared so much old emotional baggage and cleared my Heart Wall and have seen wonderful changes in my life and feel so much emotionally lighter - it's a wonderful technique and thanks to Dr Brad putting the full method in the book, anyone can use it to help themselves and others.

To be completely honest , I dropped some emotional baggage about this show recently, originally when bringing in TK I was resistant to the change “ the minimalists” where only Ryan and Joshua, who is this guy ? But after a few episodes I always absolutely love his take on topics and I think I might even vibe with him the most, how silly of me !

While I like the ideas that Dr. Bradley talked about, it felt like he was more interested in doing a sales pitch rather than being concerned about answering questions. When you mentioned somebody had approached you to have him on the show it really made sense. If this happens again, maybe you could let the guests know that your show is more about presenting ideas rather than doing a sales talk?

I’ve read Dr. Bradley’s books and they’re very informative. I found after my husband passed away, and I still felt like I wasn’t moving along as I should. After about five years I discovered that I had trapped emotions in my body. Traumas related to his illness and also my former in-laws we’re not a help After he passed away. A lot of dysfunctional / miss placed grief emerges when there’s a death. All that fighting that occurs over property, assets, money, all of those arguments, and all that strife that often emerges after there’s a death, I called that miss placed grief. I learned that from a book by Susan Fuller, a former hospice nurse of 30+ years?

The idea of trusting your subconscious really strikes a cord. I have been in a bad marriage for many years, and I had pains, depression, I'd have very little patience for certain things, be hyper vigilant or sensitive to other things. He's articulating what I've been trying to put into words; I had been thinking that it's like My subconscious is acting like an immune system, trying to protect me and get me to change, and I was in too deep to listen for a long time. Now I'm listening, and hoping I can trust my gut more about how I feel right or not. I just hope my gut isn't steering me toward short-term or damaging behaviors, in the same way your immune system can be misdirected or overreact to allergens, where the reaction is worse than the problem. He lost me at "I released the emotion by swiping a magnet over her back", though
@Iquey
@Iquey 7 месяцев назад
Lol yes idk if magnets are the way to excise emotional knots like electro magnetic inner demons. There are similar modalities at play with acupuncture, and using vibration and electricity to stimulate the fascia system to get rid of illness or rebalance energetic hogs/"baggage/whirlpools" in the body. Some people use massage, cupping, float tanks, selenite and quartz wands to achieve similar effects. Personally I like massage, float tanks and an infrared pod with vibration. It really warms you up and shakes you out 😂 but it's very relaxing.

I struggle with anger towards my husband’s laziness. As long as we’ve been together he will go through long periods of doing very little to help out with the household or children. Its often started with an illness of some type. In the past it was constant gout attacks. More recently its covid. Problem is I have also been sick with covid but I more or less continue as normal as the routines need to keep going. My husband seems completely oblivious to the fact I’m also sick, and takes to his bed and playing games & watching videos. This generally continues for at least two full weeks, once three. I don’t know how he keeps his job. He is the only breadwinner so his income is important. I do most things for the children and most chores and cooking. I don’t mind this as long as he is keeping up his end by working. But if he is just lying around and not contributing to anything it makes me feel angry. If I try to tell him he gets very defensive and will often stonewall. So its v hard to be honest about how I feel. I keep trying to carry on and not let it get to me but the anger keeps coming up. Any suggestions?

I would love your help on something. I am a very frugal person someone who always wants the best for my money. I have been shopping at the cheapest supermarket for years and I hate it. Its so depressing its so dark and filled with people who look so unhappy. This supermarket takes me 15 mins drive to get to it and I tend to buy certain brands of things. I find that the more healthy option which i buy is the more expensive choice at this place. I have two other supermarkets under 5 mins drive from me which i have always said were too expensive for me to shop at but I have been recently finding that some of the products I buy are the same price here as at the cheaper supermarket and sometimes even cheaper. I find shopping at the cheaper supermarket I am tending to only want to do a huge shop once every 2 months so I don’t have to go in there again as hate it so much. But this is leading my me hoarding huge lots of food in cupboards In my kitchen than don’t fit into my pantry. I find I also have to settle for the lesser not to healthy thing as my first option tends to be out of stock alot. I find that buy the time I get around to using the lesser option I have got the better one from the other place and so the other is surplus and gifted away to someone else. I also find that I ration food and try and make it last as long as possible sometimes going hungry to avoid going back to the place so often. Is this a case of there are refunds on your time. I can pop to the more upmarket place once a week and get what we need and not waste of ration food. But I am still thinking I need to save every penny and shop at the cheaper place.
@Iquey
@Iquey 7 месяцев назад
Just remember your time is like pennies you can't get back. Also a good mood too. And yes, rich people stores do have discount areas because there's often over production because the food companies are looking for profits.
@moyrainbow5674
@moyrainbow5674 7 месяцев назад
Why is it an either/or situation? Can you not go to different stores either for different things or with varying frequency. Buying things at agood price that you don't like or won't use isn't actually a saving. Nor is it a saving if it causes you stress, yet you can afford to avoid that stress.

I think his thought process is really off. “The fruit of unconditional love is total acceptance”. Unconditional love means you don’t need to do something for me to love you. But me loving you means wanting the best for you. If I love my drug addicted friend unconditional I will not totally accept their choices.

I haven't finished yet, yet fascinating. Until Author says 81 yr. old, "probably not going to be around much longer..." My mom is 80, goes to Zumba, has over 400 followers on IG, is an artist, sends me funny TikToks... She better live another 10-15 years or I'll be starting a fight RIGHT NOW! She gave me something to cry about. I'll give her something to ruminate about!

Please please please declutter the pseudoscience that you have let into the channel. The idea of emotions trapped in parts of the body....the electrons do not carry our "emotional wavelenght". I am really at a lost as to what does all this have to do with minimalism honestly
@wesleyorange8133

Enjoy these videos; but turned off when the guy started talking about 'energy emotions' or what have you. Interesting theory, but it has no basis in science. There's no such thing as emotions being 'vibrations' or whatever he was speaking of. Emotional reactions, negative ones, are caused by varying levels of the hormone Norepinephrine. Serotonin also plays a major role in this, as well as Dopamine. There's no such thing as holding in vibrational energy or 'closing a vibration loop' or whatever he was speaking about. Good philosophical ideas, I suppose, but not psychiatry, and not scientific. Love the minimalism videos! But won't be checking back for any psychology videos. Edit: For clarification and source, the vibration emotion guy is David R. Hawkins, and while he's usually critical of new age science and very logical, furthering the idea of frequencies regulating emotions has started to turn spiritual, which is why it's all questionable. Quantum mechanics is neither meant nor does it attempt to explain emotion. It is a theory of physics, not psychology.

Yeah, There was certain point when marbles left the building. Only connection between people are when they are connected in same room or via. messages. There is no field where one can siphon information or connection. Those connections are inside of oneself, and only there. There is metric ton better psychology videos in RU-vid and Alok Kanoija's (dr. K) work are on top of the pile. Good logical explanations why things go around and bite in the back. Time to do Clutter cleaning. This channel has no value anymore, junk in sub box.

@@jh-mp8so I studied psych, biology, writing, etc. and was a general student of several sciences and literature, and from the get go, his explanations were huge red flags for pseudo-science/spiritualism and not psychology. That stuff has no place for someone who is truly trying to fix emotions relating to their mother.

I had a thought a few weeks ago that because emotions in our brain and body are experienced through the molecular movement and reactions of neurotramsmitters and hormones, which produces a kind of energy, and thoughts actually do have unique electrical patterns in the brain (individual to most people though) I figure trying to debunk whether or not emotions are energy or matter is a chicken or egg problem. The molecules for experiencing emotion have been evolving for millennia through billions of species leading up to us, and the emotions and the chemicals that accompany them have survived millennia to get into us as we exist now through our genes, and DNA is a crystal-protein. A very special sequence that can stretch and curl and unwind, so vibrations (through either sounds or electric magnetic fields or light) affecting our emotions and body is not that far fetched in my opinion, especially when there's documented fact that mitochondria use infrared light communication. We are just beginning to understand the ways it works inside of us or why it might not for certain diseases.
@wesleyorange8133
@wesleyorange8133 7 месяцев назад
@@Iquey There's no such thing as "vibrations" affecting emotions. Emotions are just chemical reactions that trigger a response in our brain. Chemicals are basically keys that go into different receptors in our brain, basically locks. You can't change harmonics/frequency/"energy" to change hormone receptors or chemicals. It's an interesting thought, but in the grand scheme, just because matter and energy are transferrable (bohr's laws) doesn't automatically mean that all matter (including chemicals) is always energy and all energy is always matter. Again, just be cautious of this kind of stuff, because there's no such thing as 'emotional loops of vibrations' or whatever he was saying.
