I am always saying WE GOT THIS in real life and online. We all have our own struggles and I believe we can get through anything together. When I was diagnosed with cancer in September, I thought this was my own struggle but I realised my cancer has affected everyone around me. I am a daughter, a girlfriend, a sister, a friend, a cousin, a grand daughter & more. I know my journey has affected everyone around me and I know now more than ever that I have no choice but to get better. Whatever life throws at us, we are going to get through it together. Tiffany I was the same way. I didn't want to talk to anyone either. I was angry about the surgery because I did not want an ostomy. Now that I have been living with it I am so happy to be cancer free! You need to ask about the biopsy results. They have had pleanty of time. Love you and sending prayers!!!!

I totally understand. I too went through "Cancer" treatments and surgeries and it's tough. It's the unknown that keeps coming up. I want YOU to know that I am with you in spirit and sending you my love. You Got This Tiffany. You are strong and an inspiration to many around the world with your positivity. With that being said, when you feel sad, it's OK. When you feel Stuck that is totally normal and when you feel like crying.... "Cry". It's OK to let it all out and then you'll feel better. Tiff it must be agony not knowing the results of the histology. The fact that you have moved on mentally to this point shows how much better you are feeling. Nobody knows how this feels for you but I can imagine how I would feel in your situation. These days of doubt and feeling trapped are part of the process, it must be. You are at a very difficult stage in your recovery…desperate to get on with your life but physically not quite there yet. I work in medicine and through my working day you are never far from my mind because sometimes I see patients who trigger my thoughts of you. Keep going Tiff you have been extraordinarily brave and positive. You and your body have been through immense trauma so be kind to yourself while you are healing. We got this you gorgeous human 💙

Tiffany, I don’t think you are being selfish at all. I think you’re decision is very intelligent! I can’t tell you how happy I am to see you, not only moving around, but also focusing on your breathing exercises at the same time! There is nothing you could show me that would be repulsive or awful to me. Like I've said, I've had every one of those. The ostomy, too. It took me a little time to get used to it but I finally did, despite a few blow outs. I feel you, sweet lady! It's difficult to feel so helpless, Tiffany! You have had one of the biggest surgeries anyone can have! You are doing well to my thoughts. We love you and you are in our prayers always!!

5 years ago my husband got an aggressive cancer. His boss was really upset for him. 5 years on my husband is cancer free and his poor boss died of a heart attack only 2 years after my husband's diagnosis. This journey in life we are on is never guaranteed for any of us. We have a God we can rely on, that is with us ever step of the way though! God bless you.

I’m glad you broke down! Some times we just need to brake apart so we can come back stronger. You are going through something so incredibly scary and painful. Understand, that whatever you choose to do moving forward, I support you. No one can say anything because every cancer journey is different. Just know again, I support you in whatever you do, however you need to act, or anything else. You are amazing, strong, courageous, smart, beautiful, empathetic, and whatever else positive. Omgoodness dearest Tiffany. I feel absolutely 💯 percent silly. I was just crying because the chemotherapy is actually melting and crumbling my nails. I have one thumb nail that is so tender and sore. I had a low anterior resection last May for bowel cancer. Now have an ileostomy. It was hard physically and still is mentally to process the pain, exhaustion and depression associated with it. I’m waiting for a reversal but am very anxious about it too . Had a complete meltdown Monday . You are allowed to feel scared. It’s perfectly normal but you are doing so well. You are such a strong woman and a real inspiration x

You've been through so much and it's so natural to have difficult days, but it's also so important to see how far you've come. You clearly do see this when you talk about the number of wires decreasing - tick, tick, tick! I love how you talk yourself through difficult thoughts - and then come out smiling. 💙💙💙 It seems to me totally sensible to want this time to yourself and definitely the right thing to do. When my friend had cancer surgery she sometimes felt she had to manage other people not knowing how to talk to her about the situation, putting them at ease - and that was really tiring for her (she did love and appreciate their support though!). Tiff… I got staff infection in my hip in August. I was in hospital sick as a dog for a month. Couldn’t walk… can’t walk still . Two surgeries and one more to go. I’m at home but in a hospital bed until probably another month. Tired of sleeping on my back all this time when I was a side sleeper. Couldn’t even scratch my own legs or back. I couldn’t eat… just started eating normal this last month. Once you get home you will feel better. It’s gonna be okay. Feels like you’re going to be in that bed forever… you won’t. You have family and you have your love…. they aren’t going anywhere. Hang in ! Everyday is a closer day to you being home. Then you’ll start the count down to being up and getting back to your new normal. You’re beautiful & young and have a whole life ahead of you. Stay positive.

I know at this point looking good is not the biggest issue on your mind but you do look fabulous…..how do you do that 😉 You are a beautiful lady. Sleep will help to heal you so sleep away. In my own experience with my dad and now my husband, the cancer fight brings something akin to the shell shock or battle fatigue soldiers suffer with during wartime. Cancer is a war... an unrelenting one. My heart goes out to you, Tiffany, and your loved ones. You are much too young to have to face this battle. I totally get it. I had so many complications after my tumor surgery, and then I had to have two more surgeries. Hospitals are not a good place for mental health. I struggled waiting for my results, after a week I was moved to ICU for two weeks, then isolation for a week. My mental health was so fragile. I cried and cried. I got ICU psychosis. I called so many people at 5:30 AM because I was sure everyone was lying to me. Now, I am cancer-free for almost 6 years.

💙💙💙 hi from. 🇨🇦 . Just checking in. I hope you had a good day at home today & that you arre getting stronger, day by day. Though it was -45C today where I'm at (the coldest day of this winter) temps will be rising into +3C to +4C for three days next week. The sun is already strong and I read in my glassed in back porch. I need sunglasses to read because it is so bright and cozy even when brutally cold outside. We also have tons of snow, which doesn't normally disappear until the end of April. But do you know what happens then???? GARDEN SEASON TIFFANY!!! 😃😃🌺🌹💮🌱 Get yourself sorted out, eat selectively by what your body now handles but eat well to put on more weight and walk walk walk for strength and sleep and sleep so your body heals. The excruciating pain was unbearable for me, I somehow with all my will power managed to get up & stand up. Whole night I was crying silently because I couldn’t sleep nor lie on one side. My partner was exactly like you ,he felt as if he was a prisoner and you are going through that but eventually down the line you will smile and think couldtake anything on now . The time in ICU passes pretty easily bc you basically float in and out of awareness. It’s the long, slow moving time afterward that’s so tough. The “ticks” come more slowly but you’ve got this! It’s okay to be depressed and down at times.

Tiffany, your emotions are perfectly normal and I know I felt the same. But I can’t imagine how hard it must have been over Christmas. You’ve been to hell and back with your surgery. It’s hard to not think about everything when you’re on your own in a hospital bed. Sleep is good. I always think it’s giving your body time to heal. When I got my hair washed for the first time, they did it in the sink and I swear there was water everywhere. The shampoo def wasn’t all rinsed out, but I didn’t care, I felt so clean! It was just the best. ❤

Tiffany dear, your feelings and emotions and thoughts are all quite normal after all you've been through! I've been there and many of your RU-vid friends have been there as well. Everything will get back to normal once you get home and have a nice routine. Health struggles are real and it takes time to start to feel like everything is fine. Your hormones, your digestion being rerouted and the temporary, and I stress temporary, loss of your strength and independence is difficult to deal with. You are going through normal emotions love! Remember you did this because it was necessary and this is only a temporary moment in time, after all is said and done you will have the rest of your life to enjoy and spend with your loved ones! I am going through a journey myself and I completely relate to what your feeling! I have been putting off going to the hospital for a few weeks now because I don't want to be stuck there, I get it! However i finally made the call today as I know it is necessary and will only be temporary! Without doing what I have to I will only be causing myself to be stuck in my own home as without treatment I don't have the energy to do anything. My prayers are with you and you have come so far! I am glad you are past this and at home. You are right--hospitals are VERY hard to stay at. There are interruptions day AND Night--it's crazy. And it's so boring--I don't blame you for being frustrated and feeling trapped. Tiffany, your attitude is AMAZING for such a hard journey. You have been amazing and have shown such a positive attitude. Thank you for being the very picture of gratitude and reminding all of us how much we have to be thankful for! Hi Tiffany! I just recently discovered your story. First off, I just wanted to say, I’m praying for you. Second, I want to tell you how brave you are, not only to be fighting cancer, but for sharing your journey with the world. You show people to be brave and strong even in their toughest times. You also show people that emotions are normal and it is okay to have challenges in life. And coming from someone who is not nearly as brave as you, may I offer a piece of advice that helps me when I’m emotionally exhausted? Lean towards your closest family and friends, because they may not be able to erase the struggles, they will always hold your hand through it. Never forget that. Hi Tiffany, your emotions are valid. Just being in hospital can mess up with your emotions. You have had a major life saving surgery, and please although its not easy dont be hard on yourself. Hi Tifanny, my friend just died of stage 3 colon cancer that turned into stage 4. It was a horribly painful death and there was no real peace at the end. The reason I tell you this is because good or bad it is simply a possible reality of stage 3. It is reality, and hiding from reality makes it no better. As a long stay hospital patient many times it's so normal to feel like this. Maybe start doing some mediation. There's lots of RU-vid that you can imagine and put yourself at the beach or wherever you want. It's very helpful to leave even in your mind . ❤️ Lol I always forget your already home. But mediation helps there too

Oh my dear Tiffany, I can so sympathize with your frustration being stuck in the hospital. I went to the emergency room due to damaging my wrist badly on Sunday. I couldn't figure out for the life of me why they just didn't set my wrist & let me go home....silly me! Whilst I was there I had a blood clot in my lung and had a minor stroke. GRRRRR So damn frustrating! It took me another 5 days to get out. I had no visitors the entire time, If I wasn't in so much pain, I would have been crying for being alone. LOL I was thinking & praying for you while I was in my own hospital room. I hope you continue to gain strength! Much love from Florida

Tiffany you need to chill out and take care of yourself don't worry about where everybody thinks or says you need to take time and feel so don't be so hard on yourself nobody will get mad at you if you can't do everything right away doing great and it will take time for you to get back to normal love you and take care of yourself first before you take care of everybody else
