It's always heartbreaking to watch them adjust to the true life they were supposed to have. No more bottles, soft blankets, everything so different and strange to them. I hope he will be okay. He is the cutest little thing.
That's heartbreaking. Is there any way you can help find him a home?? Its kind (but exploitive at the same time) that you go out and help transition but they'll never actually transition cause they now depend on you or others for food. It'd be great if you could try rehoming. Maybe the city taking them isn't the worst thing if they help truly transition but I'd wish someone to adopt these poor babies, I wish I could

Also, the way it’s breathing and pucker and its lips which is so saddening to watch it feels like someone else is gonna leave it. They go through experiences just like we do it has no clue how to survive in the wild because it has been taken or whatever the situation was since it was born or very little, so it is very dependent on a human however, these animals have emotion similar to ours, and literally is traumatizing it all over again

Yesterday when they first found him still dressed in his clothes he was very calm and just sitting and looking around. He didnt even approach the Vo's at first. Obviously a big change today now that he is hungry, no place to sleep, etc....so sad.....
