I think the title of this piece should be Saying Goodbye. It just feels like that's what's happening here: you're saying goodbye to someone you love. And while you're sad to leave them, you know you'll never forget all the amazing times you had together.

Beautiful! You can name it Goodbye. I just closed my eyes and thats the feeling this piece gave me.

About two and a half years ago I got a new job in the telecom industry. It was great, I had a wonderful boss who fought tooth and nail for us, co-workers you could count on for help, and training that prepared me for success my first day in the field alone. We had our problems but they weren't enough to warrant anything beyond the occasional gripes. That all changed when we were bought out. The changes crept in slowly but soon we could all see the path we were being lead down. I maintained hope it would improve but it never did. One of us left the industry to try his own thing and then three of us left to try the competition we had joked about on countless occasions. After my last day I felt hope for the future but sadness at leaving my brothers, even our boss was happy for us but still did not want to lose us. I found this song after I got home, it could not have been more appropriate.

This makes me feel about a billion times worse about something that happened only a few months ago. There was this girl in my class, and she was perfect. But when the time came, she moved away. And it was right at the time when my feelings were developing for her. And I never got to say goodbye properly. All I did was say, " Seeya later." I wanted to say, "Please, don't leave. I need you in my life." Thank you Lucas, you and your music are the only reasons I'm still here today. EDIT: WHY DOES NO ONE LIKE MY STORY?! I KNOW IT SUX BUT COME ON.

As knightB97 said goodbye isn't a bad name. First it felt like something flying, then a quick dive into the ocean and then a feeling of not being alone changing into a very lonely feeling. Overall it felt like a journey with a goodbye. Maybe two travelling companions parting.

This reminds me of my love who broke up with me and everyday I look into the stars every night hoping that later in life would meet again but he did what was right and I feel we are not going to see each other no more but everyday I think about him and pray for him because I just want to know he's okay and be there with him and I think is a bad idea or a mistake to be with him and I think there is always going to be someone out there better than him but I still think of him when I'm not distracted
