I had no idea what was about to happen. I was very sick that morning, but I was convinced to go to have a bite to eat and go ring shopping (not knowing he already had the ring). He wanted to take a picture in front of this huge tree and I was griping that I was cold and I wanted to eat. He then handed me a book with the picture of the ring on the front and the first page of what he wanted to say to me, which he knew he would be able to say because of nerves and excitement of the moment. The book was actually a journal of the events that took place leading up to the proposal so awesome!
A family member filmed this without me knowing. All of our friends and family were hiding in the background watching me say YES to my love.
