There is something we must know about this Sheakh...when the Egyptian collected all the Quran readers in President Abdullnasir time to make recording for Egyptian Radio, they were asked to but there fees for the recording in sealed envelopes. Upon collecting and opening of the bids, they so one bid that didn't put any amount of money! and it was Sheakh Alhussari. He wrote a note saying" I don't take money in return for reading God's words. Let's all make dooaa for him.
Ali Sharjah Subxaanallah that means Sh M. Alhusary has a A lot of EEMAAN. He is my sheikh forever, i was listening to him from 1984 when i was a child, my parent's love the sheikh very much. Mashallah AlHussary was one of the finest and respected qari of the last century. We are fortunate to have the opportunity to hear his recitation today Alhamdulillah
May Allaah, the Mighty and Majestic, reward the Shaykh immensely. It is quite amazing when you really think about it...here is a recitor who has passed away so many years ago, yet inshaAllaah, he is still being rewarded everyday whilst in his grave, because of the many students that are memorising the Qur'aan from his recitation. I do agree his pronounciation is very good and clear, i do learn from his voice to make my lahjah sounds like him, i believe it is how our prophet read, and for me the most important is his "madd consistency" is amazing, like always on the click, not like qari in our time, sadly will make you confuse, when you learn tajwid this is 2 harakah this is 4 etc etc but they .... You know 😌

Dear Brothers and sisters remember that all of the other imams are also Muslims and they are reciting the words of Allah (SWC) magnificently...so instead of saying such harsh words, just say that the other imams are great reciter but Sheikh Khalil Al Husri is one of the greatest. May Allah admit him into the highest Jannah...ameen!

Thoese who dont know these recitation style is called maqam bayati. There are also maqam nahawand Maqam ajam maqam rast Maqam kurdi Search these names then just write after quran you will find those type of recitation inshallah. Search like maqam nahawand quran. And share to other's.

I like the voices of Al Afasy,Luhaidan,Ghamidi,and Ajmithe most but I know that the Egyptian qaris are the best in tajwid and Al Husary is the bestin tajwid.All the sifat and makharij is perfect with Husary.He is the teacher of Abdul Basit and the best qari.I judge him by the tajwid and not because of a beautiful voice and that is most important in judging a qari,although a beautiful voice is important but tajwid is priority.His voice is still nice although not like the other I mentioned.
Abdallah E i dont think a nice voice important like you said his tajwid and makhrij his perfect i think that makes the recitation have that added beauty unlike those other reciters you mentioned who are either nasal reciters or just those who have alot of mistakes . Tajwid is THE priority . A good voice only makes you only like tunes of reciters and i believe the Qur'an was sent to have the message understood so tajwid and only tajwid matters
