Hope your toddler is in a stage to understand what you say. Communalism is the key in gentle weaning . Start reducing the number of feeds week by week gradually. Down the line your baby will also adapt the pattern and slowly he will be weaned off . I know its hard and will take time . But this would be the best way to wean. Consistency and determination is the key

I am women’s health physiotherapist, as per from my side ,kids won’t forget sucking reflex easily, give food in exact time, because if hungry exceeds more time he will be irritable,make him engage in activities,you spend time with him as outdoor,I was feeding my kid till 4years

We can understand Sunitha, even I've gone through such situations were I've to leave my son with my sil.My elder daughter was met with a major accident only parents were allowed to stay,same day we could notice that my three yrs old son had chicken pox , I use to go home to take bath Where I saw my son laying on Neem leaves 🌿

I applied neem oil and allowed them to drink, it wud taste bitter and they themselves will go away. I did this to my 2 daughters when they were 2yrs old. So try that whenever he comes for breast-feeding

You really didn't have to do this! I just applied nilavembu and my baby stopped by himself. He just tasted and stopped himself. Was about to comment in the first video. But realised you would have already reunited by then ❤️

Hi Sunitha try Femite my paediatrician recommended its like a liquid we need to apply before feeding,it gives a strong bitter taste so that the child will not ask for milk again

U can try in thotil during stopping feeding.. I did the technique one week she cried but after everything became normal... If she demand for milk I put in thotil and make her comfort den again if she cries I do this same repeat again again. Those days v need to sacrifice our sleep..

Absolutely! This is beyond cruel...especially if the kid won't be in a position to understand... I left my toddler around 1 and 8 months in Madurai and left to chennai for a job...that increased his hyper activity issues and ADHD...already this kid is having speech delay..apart from this...
