Feelings do not equate with emotions. They cover emotions but feelings also contain bodily feelings (due to internal and external experiences), sensing ( picking up feeling tones around us) and knowing Dhamma ( how things really are in the moment). It would be great to consult Buddhist scholars as well in taking these excellent findings and ideas forward. Fascinating and Groundbreaking lecture, thank you!)
Beautifully expressed, thank you. It is based on evolution tho, which is becoming less logical i think. Seems obvious our senses emerged but they are v tenuous. But mostly, we use only one sense pr time. Never more than one. Wouldnt this constraint have made survival rather miraculous? Can anyone shed light, please?
