May Allah make it easier for the Unmarried, and grant us righteous spouses and offsprings that'll be the coolness of our eyes. However, I do wonder, *what constitutes as the ability to get married?* Is it a certain age? As in once puberty is hit? Is it a certain rank/status? Is it financial stability? Is it maturity? The reason why I ask is because, may Allah make it easier for us, I am in debt, I have student loans, may Allah help us overcome our debts. But let's say I potentially find someone Insha'Allah, and I've yet to clear my debts, I can not make promises for a Mehr or to be able to take care of my spouse, financially, until my debts are cleared. Does that mean I should wait? Or should I proceed nonetheless? I also just graduated Alhamdulillah and do not have a job yet. I'm aware that the doors of rizq open when one is married, but am I capable enough to provide for someone if I myself am deep in debt? Please pray for your brother, and may Allah accept from us, ameen. Wa Allahu musta'an. Jazakum'Allah Khairan.
