My Prayers be with you and your son. I am a older grandmother of a 24 year old, granddaughter with severe Autism. Keep your faith in God. I have always had my mind set on the “what if “ . To this day I’m still trusting God for her care after my going to be with the Lord. I appreciate your sharing. It really helps me when I’m able to be real, about reality. It is a very difficult situation to be in; but be it known that God makes no mistake in his doing. God loves you and your son.You, nor your son are a punishment from God. God knows exactly whom to bless our special children with. Your son and my granddaughter are Gods blessing to us. It gets overwhelming sometimes for me, and I am in total understanding of decisions having to be made for our loved ones. I’m still trusting God for his guidance on when and where to place my granddaughter. I’ve had her in my life, all of her life, but in my custody since she was five years old. Ma’am don’t give up, be strong, You are everything to your son. Go to God, he will get you through your tiring days, and long nights. He won’t leave y’all alone. Be encouraged. As I go about my days and nights I will lifting you and your son before the Lord. Everybody can’t do the patience, care, and give the love, it takes for a person with Autism. You and your son are in God’s loving, caring, hands. In Jesus name, Amen, Amen, and Amen, again. My love go out to you and your son. *To God Be The Glory, great things he hath done.*
