"Anthems to the Welkin at Dusk" and "IX Equilibrium" were for me THE best Black Metal albums, Prometheus was probably to intelligent/progressive for me. It's 100% headphone-music because there are so many beautiful things happening at the same time, dispite what they are doing on Stage which is simply incredible !! Emperor is still so important for me, hope that they make an new album - the solo-albums from Ihsahn doesn't suit me completely 🤘🤘🤘
Meh. Emperor lost their fade for me personally. Their first two albums were a huge part of my black metal fascination in my teens, but nowadays they are kinda bland.
