Good times..... When I played this, I thought, "omg, next Empire Earth games are gonna be awesome, just like this, but with more mechanics, more units....". Little dummy...
@@Hunter-jo8ud exactly. The only improvements for Empire Earth 2 and 3 were the graphics and sound effects, that's all. The rest came worse, much worse from EE1.
Well, you could have built more walls along with the towers. They cost less than towers, also enemy units are unable to land on your island due to the walls. I often found it easier to put artillery units (trebuchets/howitzers/paladin cannon/basilisk etc) near the towers to protect my island from enemy warships.
Certainly a good strategy - I do that sometimes when I know I won't be able to afford all the stone required for tower coverage. However, I prefer going with towers as my sole defensive damage output so I don't have to waste resources on units and slow down epoch progression.
@@classicgames9827 Plus you also don't run the risk of walling out your own people since they have to build each individual section of the wall out which can easily result in a few getting stuck on the other side.
Que clásico amigo. para mi mejor AOE pero le falto economia mas desarrollada y era absolutamente un juegaso. Los otros EE II+ nunca me gustaron perdían todo la magia de este clásico.
@@gergelykoncsar8229 if you install drexmod 2.0 you can zoom out farther. Direct3d or something limits the resolution to 1080p, there exist fixes, but I haven't used any of them myself.
Ah damn, I was hoping for green and cyan to advance from Industrial to Atomic Age WWI before you'd kill them :/ I wonder, when does it become impossible to ROFLstomp the AI like this age-wise? Could it still be done with them in the Atomic Age(s) possibly?
This is just a personal thing, but the fact that you leave buildings on semiopacity bothers me so. In this game idk why but i hated the look of a building going opac, it is so jarring i guess in comparison to other games of this nature I suppose is the best reason lmao weird I know

settlements, send in villagers by stationing them into the building. that way settlements upgrade to towns and capitols, which are able to create villagers.

Empire Earth was superior to the Civ franchise for a few important reasons. In the Civ games, it took forever to build simple things. In EE, it didn’t. I don’t really want to learn history by playing Civ.
