It was like wild n out battle(like Nick cannon) going against Jaz the Rapper(who actually battles)…what Nick might say is performance worthy, Jaz actually rapped the deadlier material at her opponent..imo the same with Hakeem(Nick) n Freeda(Jaz)
Big facts bruh. Freda did win, but I gotta give it to Hakeem. It’s all about entertaining the crowd more. It’s like he was talking to Freda and wasn’t at the same time. He was talking to the crowd and compared he was the best than Freda, had more money than Freda, and said Freda could never steal his shine and spotlight, and even told the crowd that Freda can learn something from him type shit.
Round 1 Freda took it, round 2 Hakeem flipped Freda's entire performance, made her small and focused on himself, even Lucius had his fair share, classic battle, Freda is this battle rap genius, Hakeem is more of a hip pop rap genius, lovely!
Freda needs to be on the radio waves like now! Hip Hop needs a fire, female MC. She's way different than any other females on the radio these days. FREDA, WHERE YOU AT?!?!
Hakeem’s lyrics could have been used in any battle against any opponent. Frieda’s lyrics were directed at Hakeem. Secondly, how would the crowd KNOW Hakeem’s lyrics ahead of time to recite them with him? Hands down Freda won and there’s no debate.
Hakeem used a mixture or freestyle and lines from some of his past raps, which is not uncommon to do in lyrical battles. But all and all Frieda won straight up bar for bar. Keem just got the crowd behind him and nullified what she had going against him.
Nah bro. Remember his father organized that rap battle at the regular ground where Hakeem always perform and defends the LYON family. Everyone there knows him and his signature move and style of rap battle. If you follow his lyrics you'll hear him say they all know what's up meaning how he does it. Freda was rapping against him but he was busy defending himself and not shading Freda
@@Bethel.TV12 so he’s recycling. In battle rap, if your crew can recite your lyrics, it’s usually something you already said before. Notice no one knew Freda’s lyrics. She attacked which is what you do in battle rap. His lyrics could have been for any opponent.
@@calientebeats like you rightly said she attacked. Hakeem didn't and told her she could learn a thing or two from him. Freda was there participating for her first time. Hakeem have been there from day 1. If it would have been a neutral ground then I belief Hakeem would have changed to something else. In battle if you get the crowd you win. That's thesame everywhere and there as well. Freda got the bazz but she failed to connect to the crowd which means that's just the one of the many things she can learn from Hakeem. Remember lucius brought Freda raw from the streets and was still in the place of molding her for greatness. Freda is like a raw talent that needs alot of polishing. The industry is big and it needs wisdom to handle things but Freda spots out vibes without using wisdom. Hakeem has matured in the game and knows when and how to kill his opponent even without a strong bazz. And more over Hakeem was focus on his father rather than Freda cos he knew Freda was just an alabi the father was using to get at him. That's why he crush the LYON out of his name.
@@scarlettcrowns You don't know what you're talking about. The whole point of a battle rap is to *diss your opponent* as creatively and entertainingly as possible-not do the crowd-pleasing crap Hakeem did here (which Jamal advised him to do in an earlier scene).
@@Matt-28 its been a while since i saw the show but i think it was because those were usually his catchy lines in a song. Like his fans knew those lyrics cos he usually included them , something like that, i think
Hakeem knows he will lose if he did not do what Jamal said... Jamal said that Freda is a better rapper than Hakeem but Hakeem is a better entertainer ... So to he have to be a entertainer to win so Hakeem use the crowd
That’s not always true….u still gotta Rap to your opponent, I watch battles and yea someone could have performance but u still gotta defeat your opponent with material. Crowds are fickle, they don’t always catch material or just cheer for who they like or know too often..he didn’t win this just off nursery rhymes
Hakeem songs were all about wat hes got & how rich he is, the songs weren't 4 a rap battle but fredda went at him direct from "daddy's little girl 2 the battle "
It was easier for Freda cos she knows all about Hakeem; who doesn't know sh*t going down in Lion's family, but Hakeem has little or no info about Freda, so he applied common sense by winning the crowd... Freda got a good flow, Hakeem got swagz and owns the street. The show was lit 🔥
