Choppiness of stopping for his commentary ruined it for me, could have spoke over him doing things rather than cutting to the commentary separately. Also a lot of his criticism of Cobes comes down to his ASD, I feel like he either has a limited understanding of Autism or chose to ignore it to make him look worse. Additionally bringing an alcoholic a fresh bottle and taking them to a bar just to critique their alcoholism makes no sense, they literally enabled it. Also….length.

I had a friend who was *exactly* like Josh in high school and college. He was obsessed with Ozzy Osbourne, had long greasy hair, and was willing to get intoxicated with just about any substance. The only difference between him and Josh was the fact that my friend was a straight-A student. He would smoke PCP the night before a chemistry final, and still ace it. I kept him around for years because he was such an interesting and entertaining character, and I genuinely enjoyed his company. That was until my girlfriend told me he had tried molest her while I was passed out drunk.

For all intents and purposes YFS basically thought he was gonna show up and once he got Cobes on camera the content would make itself. He legit would have a much better end product if he did a more elaborate run down on the warlock's history to show he actually knows his subject, instead it comes off like he randomly came across Cobes a couple months ago and could try to use it as a way to branch out his channel. I'm not expecting anything overly new but he basically didn't know what he was getting into, thinking he was going to get Josh to do any sort of activity beyond drinking and smoking.

OP has clearly never been to karaoke. We venerate people that can perform well in front of a live audience because most people sound exactly like Cobra. Even the sober ones. And they stand awkwardly still and stare at the lyric screen like that. It's hard to sing well, and it's harder to move rhythmically and hype a crowd up. It's nerve wracking to get up on stage and sing poorly in front of potentially judgemental drunks. This vid is my first exposure outside of Metokur to Cobra, he's kind of sad and autistic, he's not far from being a wet brain alcoholic, and his diet is atrocious, but props to him for getting on the karaoke stage.

What makes Josh…Josh?” A documentary has no specific “process” or outline as other than, documenting the life(current and/or past) of whatever or whoever the subject of your documentary is. And/or raising a particular question about an issue or topic, and documenting the process of how you and your crew went about getting or attempting to get the answer to that question addressed. Because theres alot of great documentaries out there that dont end with a clear concise answer or solution to the problem/topic they were addressing with their films. And honestly even though its fiction, Id argue my own point just by pointing out the “documentary” This Is Spinal-Tap. A documentary is about whatever the people making it, want it to be about. As long as they DOCUMENT the process along the way from point A to point B. Then its a documentary. Also its a fucking video about KingCobraJFS, i dont think YourFavoriteSon was shooting for or even expecting to become the next Joshua Oppenheimer or Michael Moore with this project. And i doubt even more that he was shooting for or hoping people would hold “empire of dirt” up to the likes of “Bowling for Columbine” or “The act of killing” in equal comparison. Get over yourself.

Yeah, he gonna be dead before 35 in my estimation. Many people think it will be alcohol, and while I agree alcohol will most likely play a factor, it won’t be his liver....it will be something like being drunk and suffocating from A plastic bag or too big a piece of foodhacked slop in his throat. That or his teeth might do it, if he puts off removing them for much longer.
