I find it hilarious that Jimmy survived the Warden only to die from a creeper. Like it matches him perfectly.

As somebody who actually studies history, geography, civilizations, people groups, cultures, and more, I feel as though I should point out that where Gem's empire is located would actually be a really good spot for a civilization to actually develop, especially if there is a river or lake nearby. You have the mountains and sea for defense, good, fertile soil, plenty of minerals, and plenty of materials to build with, as well as a lot of wildlife. I could easily see this nation becoming a defensive mediator amongst this world's nations, and building up the mountains with houses in stilts in the pretty warm-coloir gradient she already has going. It is strategic, and beautiful. Keep up the good work, Gem!

I am absolutely in love with the block pallet you've chosen. Never would have thought to use honeycomb or pumpkins on a roof, but they make your builds look so uniquely beautiful!

Btw there’s a strategy I found with defeating the ancient city. You need two people: a runner and a hoarder. One of you scopes out the area and carry’s all of the loot. The other has nothing and just goes around, getting loot back to the hoarder and breaking shriekers with their fist (it doesn’t take that long, and you can get more shriekers with a skulk farm) they distract wardens and if a warden gets to close to the hoarder the hoarder just pillars up while the runner draws the warden away. The runner will 100% lose whatever extra stuff they have on them, so when they get loot they need to give it all to the hoarder basically immediately. Also btw on one ancient city run there were 3 notch apples.

14:39 The Wardens sonic boom can travel through walls up to 17 blocks away- In this particular situation the warden took a few moments to locate them, released 1 sonic boom, and then they were out of range My favorite tactic when exploring an ancient city is too make hidey-tunnels in the walls for this exact reason

This sun storyline reminds me of Rapunzel. I think adding some of the Rapunzel lore to yours would be so cool to. But I’m loving everything so much ❤️

Gem: "I'll admit this: I'm not quite sure what being a princess actually entails." Gem, you already have great qualities of one! Compassion, determination, patience (especially when it comes to gathering materials for builds), cautious, and of course, lots of animal friends! Even insects like you! Not to mention that cute outfit.

I think a cool name for the Empire would be Honey Hills or Sunny Slopes. Just because a theme that Gem has when naming seems to be the same first letter for example crystal cliffs.

Gem... wardens have a range of 20 blocks. You can cheese them if you pillar up 20 blocks and shoot him with arrows. Also you need carpet in the deep dark to keep from setting off the sensors

Honeycomb is a great export! Wax is used to make candles and I’m assuming lots of empires are gonna want candles! Honey blocks are also used in red stone a lot! I have honey and honeycomb as an export on the server I play on so it’s really cool to see you have the same thing! Of course your red stones better then mine because as proven by Hermitcraft Gem is a red stone genius! :D

I think gem is the most wholesome RU-vidr I know-I mean, seeing her take so much time to care for virtual animals really shows how her personality fits her empire. She is sunshine!

*Gem, I had a wonderful lore idea!* You could just go full on fantasy princess with it! Like your powers come from the sun and clear weather! It could be said that it never rains or snows in your kingdom unless you want it too or you're feeling sad. Your lands are abundant by your will and your will alone (since your going for that nature vibe + all the animals you tamed). Maybe flowers bloom where you walk to add to the fantasy princess aesthetic? Your could sing birds to you, tame wild animals as your animal friend companions, and maybe consider having a royal guard (iron golems)?? Seeing as you are a very important princess. I mean you could possibly do sun damage on mobs in your presence if you get more powerful later on. Who knows? You could have been chosen by the sun itself. Which would be funny to see the princess who needed Sheriff Jimmy to help them mine would be the one kicking butt later on.

Name ideas: - Sun kissed peaks - (The) Sanctuary - Sun hall - Bright lights Brief explanations: - Sun princess living close to the mountains pretty self explanatory - Because of all the fauna and flora you’ve gathered seemed to be going in that direction - Sun hall would probably be towards your main castle/palace again sun princess - Leaning again towards sun themed but a little less obvious. Bright for the roof colors, standing out against the background and light for sunlight. Anywho Ocean out!

I love how your empire is coming along! The use of mangrove is especially good. I think a good name for your empire could be the Sunset Coast, given your theme and close proximity to the sea.

The episode was particularly cute and hilarious. Also, I have a name suggestion for your kingdon, which is 'Honeybeam' kingdom. Honey goes for your love of bees, while beam is from sunbeam.

I love what gem did with her barn! It looks great! by the way, you can use trapdoors to keep the water from spilling by the flowers on the second floor of your barn; that way you dont need to use full blocks! this was a funny episode yet for some reason I was also stressed during the warden part 😆

So excited for season 2, I'm watching everyone's videos. Love the Princess Zelda vibes, and Sunshine Empire looks great. Trust Jimmy to die in the caves. I went caving for redstone and deepslate and came across my first ancient city, wearing broken iron armour, leather leggings and a stone sword. A stupid skeleton fell from above, summoned the warden and I ran for my life. It should be called the horror update.

Gem is so sweet, not only does she put the animals in a pen, she makes them feel at home 🥺

Can we appreciate how good gem is at Minecraft. I've been so impressed at her general skills. And then to imagine she's not just been playing minecraft most of her time but also finished her studies and did an internship. Like when did she have time to actually get this good. Imagine how good she will be or could be if she could put more time into it.

When you posted the photo yesterday of Jimmy on the mountain I said punch him in the nose and take his hat. Instead you punched a creeper into his face. Very Princess like. 😂 This is why it's good you're a Princess and not a Queen, a Queen wouldn't be doing her own exploring or having nearly as much fun. The barn is really cute and the builds this season are working so well with each other. Looking forward to seeing what you build next and how your empire expands. You might want to Goblin proof your empire though, I have a feeling he'll be back for other items.

I could totally see the bee as the mascot of your empire. Bees fit well with the sun theme, being the right color, and they fly. And they produce your main export, so they’re the perfect candidate
